Our Enormous Power As Christians Is Often Shown In Our Capacity To Stand Firm And Trust God.

There is no any other conditions one can fulfill to know God better without fulfilling the principle of "trust." It is true and vivid that all those who come to God, should believe that He is really there. For Christians, our colossal strength lies on our ability to steadfast and believe in God and his Son in all sphere of life.

The enemies of David stood against him, and planed to kill him, but he did not give, and he continued to praise his Maker. As human nature, initially he became worried, but did not let this threat scured him.

"And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God."(1 Samuel 30:6)

In our days of our troubles, as Christians, we should stand firm. The threat, force and pressure will come from the devil trying to draw us back from our God. If we stand still and allow our strength to grow in Jesus Christ, we will be more that a conqueror.

We are therefore reminded in the Book of Matthew 24:6-13, that many things will happen in the lives of Christians during the end times; great tribulations will hit most part of the world given us clue that the end time has drawn nearer. It is up to Christians to hold unto our faith and trust God to the last day.

"And you shall hear wars and rumours of wars: see that you be not trouble: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my name sake.
And then shall many will be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many fall prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall wax cold."

Many things have been unfavourable and unpalatable in our lives. But,to walk with Jesus Christ deserves with clear mind and it is one of the things Christians should anticipate that bitter, toil and troubles are attached to Christianity, no doubt about that. Because of this, everybody who has opportunity to be called into Christian Kingdom should expect that he has been tied with Christ on the cross. That is why Jesus said, "if someone wants to follow me, the person should take my cross."

Being with Jesus cross is full of troubles, rejections and setbacks. But, those who are able to endure till the end will be victorious.
