LORD STAY WITH US FOR A WHILE

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!(Psalm 133:1)."

In humans knowledge, their existence on this Earth should have been there eternally. It therefore difficult for one to cope with when his or her family member depart from him or her. It is like "a mother" leaving her children for long journey that will take her about a month for her returns. It would n't be easy for the children to cope with, they will by all means miss her presence. Or, how do we feel when our lover or partner depart from us for greener pasture in some country? It would n't be easy for the couple of months after his or her departure.

That is how God created us. There is much more likeness "Staying Together than to Separate ourselves-Humans as social beings." So in most of our societies those who are fond of isolating themselves are regarded not love or like people.

The disappearance of humans from the Earth leaving his families and property is sometimes difficult to interpret, but God is in His own interpreter. Whatever be the case, certain things are inevitable of their occurences. It is appointed for a man to be borne, and the same way die.

The Disciples upon staying with Jesus Christ for so many years would have wished that Jesus Christ would not depart from them. Because his presence brought much blessings to their lives. Some of these these blessings are: His healing power, advice, word of God, love, compassion and kind. And one that let people miss the presence of their beloved one is the kind of thing he or she offers for them. Jesus Christ presence offered so many things into people's lives which even today, we still miss him. Though, in spirit He is with us, but physically we cannot see Him. And this is one aspect that is painful.

After the death of Jesus Christ, He revealed himself on several occasions to the Disciples. The Disciple wished that Jesus Christ could have stayed with them for a while on their stay at the village of Emmaus, communicating about Jesus Christ about his death, and Jesus Christ appeared in the spirit(Luke 24:29). The Jesus Christ who was with us in all situations interceeding on our behalf has departed us- the Disciples thought.

On the last day when Jesus Christ was departing to His Father in Heaven, children and elders wept of His departure. This shows how sorrow it is for one to depart from his or her love ones. But it should definitely come to past. In human knowledge it brings despair and anxiety, but in the wisdom of God everything that happens is good.

Departure or leaving a partner, one would say it brings changes to the one who has departed and the one who has been left behind. What do we think if Jesus Christ should have stayed with us till now? If fact to me, the Disciples could have relaxed to their duties as being Disciples. So no wonder when Jesus Christ departed, the Disciples started working with more force. Though Jesus Christ has departed, but He has promised us that He is always with us in spirit. We also communicate with Him through prayers. Let stay in touch with Jesus Christ, as He was departing and we saw his ascending to Heaven, so as we will see Him coming in his glory to take His chosen people.
