The bible said 'obey your parents in the lord for it is right'. The fact that the bible has mentioned it is a reson we must obey! Note that you should obey them in 'the lord' meaning we should apply wisdom in trying not to obey when we are compelled to do evil.

Right brother, what is in the Scriptures we must respect and obey. In life it is beautiful to be raised under the fear of GOD and to obey all that pleases our Heavenly Father. Blessings to you
