LITTLE LIGHT IN DARKNESS
The world we live in is filled with so much darkness. Darkness of evil, darkness of hatred, darkness of lust, darkness of rebellion, darkness of violence, darkness of wickedness, darkness of iniquity, and the list could go on and on... It is however not shocking to believers as it was predicted in the Bible as signs of the end time. (2 Timo. 3:1-4; Matt. 24:6-11). Another disturbing fact however, is the love of many believers waxing cold (Matt. 24:12).
Believers are lights meant to illuminate darkness . Why then is there still much darkness in the world? Is it that there are no more true believers in this world? Of course there are believers, however, it is because believers are hiding their lights under a bushel, which is not meant to be (Matt. 5:15). Many believers are saved for themselves alone, refusing to reach out to others with the light of Christ in them.
As little and dim as a candlelight is, it has the power to vanquish darkness! That little light of Christ in you can vanquish darkness from someone's life. It is time for believers to awake, it is time to dispel the darkness of this world! Dispel the darkness with love, dispel the darkness with truth, dispel the darkness with peace, dispel the darkness with kindness, dispel the darkness with patience, dispel the darkness with Christ light in you. (Matt. 5:16). That little light of yours, let it shine!
