The Glory of His presence
Exodus 33:14 and 18
Exodus 33:14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. 33:18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
The Glory of His presence is very much available like of before....
The presence of God is a place of refuge and rest
God has freely given every Christian access to the Glory of His presence but what we get is a function of our quest for it....
Would like to talk on the benefit of the Glory of His presence
Let us note that when glory departs, the power of preservation goes
In the book of Judges 16vs20, Samson was in the arm of Delilah unknown to him that the Philistines were already coming for him...
But the unfortunate thing was that Samson never knew that the presence of God's glory had left him long ago and hence he said "I will go out as of the other times before, and shake myself"
That was the beginning of His failure...
There is need to always examine ourselves daily and seek for His presence
Don't ever allow the devil to have the last statement...When the devil put a full stop add your own full stop (it becomes a colon) and then write ur statement
The presence of His glory is accessible by all
The benefits of the Glory of His presence.....
The Glory of God is a covering from Shame and failure....
Gen. 2:25
Samson was enjoying this covering until he destroyed himself with the pleasure that was never gonna last
When the Glory of His presence departs, it takes with him, the power of access
When the Glory of His presence depart, relevance is taken off, you no longer be a voice but an echo
In brevity,for us to gain access to the Glory of His presence, we need to flee all appearances of evil...2tim 2:22
We sincerely need to take our lives serious and avoid people's mould
In other words, be yourself in God, don't be a photocopy....
The best of anyone u can be is to be the second of that person!
You claim to have been praying and seeking for His presence and it seems God is not answering.....May I ask a simple question?
How is your Service to God?
Mind you, Service is doing for God what he cannot do for himself so that He can do for you what you cannot do for yourself
The place of the presence of His glory in the lives of every believer cannot be over emphasized...That was Why Moses said unto to the Lord that if the presence of the Lord would not go with them, they would not move an inch!
In conclusion, I wanna charge us to always carry out what I call personal appraisal at every intervals.....Examine yourself whether u are still in the faith
Don't be carried away with the activities of the church....Chose to be a Wise Mary and not Martha
Mary and Martha had access to the most sought after Man in their days, a man that many wished to have access to.... Unfortunate Martha missed it
One thing is needful....
Press more! Dig more! Serve more! And the presence of His glory will definitely be evident....
