Follow the example of Jesus in his love for the poor.
Esteemed community of @steemchurch considering that the love of God and Jesus for the poor, today I present his words to make a call to follow his example, especially in our country Venezuela that every day there are more people with shortcomings and limitations to meet the physical and food needs.
Reading about Jesus' life, he clearly shows that he understood the life of the poor and their needs: "Although he lived in heaven, he abandoned his lofty position, lived as a human being and" became poor because of [us] "( 2 Corinthians 8: 9).
There is no greater demonstration of love than the Jesus did for us that despite the son of God came to earth to live as poor among us, understanding all the needs of a poor person. That is why we must follow Jesus' example, understand the needs of the poor and help him to cover it, physical, emotional and psychic needs, inclusive.
In Venezuela, due to all the problems of the country, the poverty index has increased, there are sectors that are very vulnerable and more devalued than others, since the community of @steemchurch there are many members who, although it is true, require the benefits of this platform to balance their Purchasing power and being able to meet needs, you have greater possibilities of helping others who are mostly isolated and limited to acquire the minimum to subsist and give their children the minimum to feed.
"Jesus not only took pity on the poor, but was personally interested in their needs, and he and his apostles had a common fund that they used to give help to needy Israelites." (Matthew 26: 6-9, John 12: 5-8, 13:29).
I consider that @steemchurch has the same essence as what it did at the time, create a common fund to help those we most need, we just have to put a grain of sand every day to sow the love of God in those who need it.
Then as good Christians and disciples of Jesus we should be interested in the poor and the needy, to show God that we are capable of following his work on earth, all as a brother of faith. Between all and with sincere initiative we offer our contributions to those who need it most and are the most disadvantaged.

Thanks Nashilda! At SteemChurch we will always help the poor, however, the good news is that Jesus linked the true redemption of the needy to a radical change, the conversion that implied the assumption of different values, values that, not infrequently, are the way direct to get out of poverty.
