THE WISDOM OF LOVE

Everything great must have a base, a platform, a foundation upon which it is built. There is no great building without a great foundation that supports it. Love is the covenant platform for unending success in life. It is where we must stand to comnlit God to launch us into the realm of success in all facets of our lives. First Corinthians 2:9 says it all:

...Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart o/ man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

This scripture defines the platform upon which all-round success is built. God has a great agenda for them that love Him, which eyes have not seen (pace setting accomplishments), ears have not heard (ear tingling exploits), nor has it entered into the heart of any man, because it's
bigger than any dream that any man can conceive.

Success in life has been wrongly defined, even in the Church; and because it lacks a true foundation, it always culminates in frustration. Until this platform of love is established, the struggle continues. Whereas there are many worshippers, there are very few true lovers of God. God's genuine lovers have proved to be the greatest world changers all through Bible history.

Love is God's dominant nature. God is not faith, vision or power; God is love (1 Jn. 4:16). He that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him; and you and God form an eternal unbeatable team in the contests of life. We will see generational successes built on this platform; and at the end of the day you will be left to make your choice on which side of the line to belong. There is nothing new under the sun. There is nothing in scriptures that has not already been proved in the lives of men and women in Bible history. That is why the Bible says for you to stand in the way and see and ask for the old paths, where is the good way wherein our fathers trod, and walk in them, and you'll find rest for your souls (Jer. 6:16). Only those who understand mathematical examples don't sweat working a problem. But when you want to start from the problem to the example, you will struggle. You must first understand the example before attempting to solve the problem. That way, you will walk through the problems as if they do not exist. The Bible says, "And be ye not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience obtained the promises" (Heb. 6:12). The love of God at work in your life is the true foundation for fulfilling destiny in a grand style.
What Is Love? How does the Bible define love?

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:3
The biblical definition of the love of God is keeping His commandments with delight. The Bible also tells us more about love in John 14:21:

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
God's love is defined by the quality of your obedience to His commandments. The Bible says "let us therefore not love in words, but in truth and in deed" (l Jn. 3:18). God's love is not in word, but in deed and in truth. But many in the Church today draw near to God only with their mouths; their hearts are far from Him (Isa. 29:13). True God-lovers are wise, and always have something to show for it.
What is love? God's love is a giving love. The proof of love is in giving. That is why God so loved the world, He gave us His Son (Jn. 3:16). If you so love God, you'll so give to prove that you so love (2 Cor. 8:7-8). How dwells the love of God in you if your brother is destitute of his daily needs and you only pray over him, casting out the spirit of hunger, but you don't give him what he needs, especially when it's in your power to do so (Jms. 2:15-16)? Giving proves the sincerity of your love. God's love is a giving love, not a taking love. Giving is what results in receiving, but giving must come first.

The love of God is always flowing out to meet the needs of the needy and in the building of God's kingdom here on earth. God's love is not a collecting love, but a distributing love. No wonder the Bible says Solomon loved the Lord, and the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; a thousand burnt offerings did the king sacrifice upon the altar unto the Lord (1 Kgs. 3:3-4).

We also must understand that the love of God is a choice we make; it's not a gift we receive. Jesus asked Peter, "Lovest thou me more than these! " and he replied, "Lord, You know that I love You " (Jn. 21 : 15-17). Before departing, Joshua made it very clear to the children of Israel that they had a choice to make.

Sort:

Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart o/ man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. surely this is possible for all those who worship God in spirit and in truth!

God is Love, and His love is very different from human love. God's love is unconditional, and it's not based on feelings or emotions. He doesn't love us because we're lovable or because we make Him feel good; He loves us because He is love. He created us to have a loving relationship with Him, and He sacrificed His own Son (who also willingly died for us) to restore that relationship.

You can say what a person loves for the passionate way they give themselves to something. What a person values most is reflected in their actions and motives. It is clear in the Old Testament that God's highest value, his greatest love, is his own name. From the beginning of the history of Israel until the end of the Old Testament era God was moved by this great love. Through Isaiah he says that he created Israel "for his glory" (Isaiah 43: 7); "You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will show my glory" (Isaiah 49: 3).

Thanks for sharing this with us, God is love, as a Christian we must be source of love in our community. O love this part "The love of God is always flowing out to meet the needs of the needy and in the building of God's kingdom here on earth. God's love is not a collecting love, but a distributing love. No wonder the Bible says Solomon loved the Lord, and the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; a thousand burnt offerings did the king sacrifice upon the altar unto the Lord (1 Kgs. 3:3-4)."

I could remmber that the bible said. "what kind of love is this that a man would lay down his life for his friend.
The love of God is too much that he gave us his only beloved son.
And this son of his.
While we are yet sinners,he died for us...
So you see everything about God is love.
Let this love lead..Let it rule the church...

"He that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him; and you and God form an eternal unbeatable team in the contests of life.
We have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Great post!!

Excellent post! I enjoyed reading. God is love. He's God all by Himself. His love is beyond human understanding and the depth of His love is unmeasurable.

Jesus said that the greatest commandment in the Old Testament was, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind” (Matthew 22:36; Deuteronomy 6:5). The second commandment was, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39; Leviticus 19:18). Then he said, “On these two commandments hang all the law and prophets”

God is love. He's God without anyone else's input. His adoration is outside human ability to comprehend and the profundity of His affection is unmeasurable.
