FINISH WHAT YOU START
The foundation to this question was Jesus' call to discipleship. He stated, "Whoever does not hold up under his cross and come after me can't be my disciple." Jesus discusses discipleship and tower building from the perspective of one who started but did not proceed. "Whoever does not tolerate … .. can't be … ." He represents a circumstance in which he demonstrates the reasons and the aftereffects of starting but not wrapping up. He was stating, "If you begin you have to stick."
This teaching of Jesus about pinnacle builders can be seen from two edges - from the point of view of progress or from the stance of disappointment. It can be thought about emphatically or contrarily. I propose to think of it as adversely - to see the disgrace of neglecting to complete what one begins.
There are numerous who settle on a rushed choice to take after Christ but then fail. They go up like a rocket and descend like a stone! I have seen persons, sincere at the time, make a break with the life of sin and begin for heaven just to fall back with a similar old group, wallow around on the planet lastly surrender through and through. Discipleship like pinnacle building isn't simple.
The individuals who are searching for a simple life ought not attempt either wander.
The accompanying words strike a chord from one of John Peterson's songs:
"It is anything but a simple street we are flying out to heaven,
For some are the thistles in transit… ."
I had one man say to me, "I think I'll turn into a Christian." I asked him, "For what reason would you like to do that?" He answered, "My sibling turned into a Christian as of late and since then it appears like everything has been going simple for him." I said to him, "It is savvy for you to want to end up a Christian, but your intention isn't right. If you turn into a Christian you won't really have a less demanding life." To which he reacted, "Truly? I suspected that Christians have God on their side." "That is valid" I stated, "We likewise have the demon against us and he battles us at all times." about that for a minute and afterward stated, "Perhaps I would be advised to let sleeping dogs lie." I couldn't persuade him generally.
Discipleship is a procedure of building upon our association with Jesus Christ. Grabbing a cross and strolling after Jesus resembles building a pinnacle in that the choice to do either requires a consider and figured duty. There are numerous cross wearers but moderately few cross bearers. Numerous are they who have wanted to stroll after Jesus but were not sufficiently restrained to proceed and dropped by the wayside.
In the similarity that Jesus utilizes, He cautions would-be disciples that insincere cross bearers, similar to awkward pinnacle builders won't succeed. There are lessons from washouts that can be educated if we take a gander at Jesus teaching about pinnacle builders from the perspective of one who initiated but did not finish.

It takes dedication and efforts on our part to continue with the zeal we had at first. Along the line, many tend to loose that zeal. We are encouraged from the scriptures to run the race to the end. Only then, we will be saved.
