WORSHIP IN HIS BEAUTY OF HOLINESS...
Greetings Christian Community, how are we enjoying God's word here, hope we are getting renewed as each day passes by.
I will love to share with you all, a message on "Worship."
Before we start, let's take our first bible reading from the book of Jn.4:20-24

20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Worship is the ractiee or showing respect and honour to God by presenting ourselves as living sacrifices to God through faithfulness in our service to Him and always doing His will. Worshipping God entails the body, soul and spirit and with all of our strength and might.

At times it is not convenient to worship God but we are instructed to do so. Worshipping God the way we should, brings the hand of God down to do the unusual in our lives and situations. There is also an acceptable method to worship God and that is to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
Therefore we should not worship God emotionally but in liberty taking cognisance of who He is, His awesomeness, His mightiness and power and for all His benefits bestowed upon us. In worshipping God, we do so in songs, psalms and making melody in our hearts to God. We can also worship God with our time, tithe, talent and treasures. Beloved, God deserves our worship, not idols, devils, angels or things created by Him.

One important thing about worship is that, in the process of worshipping, one can meet or have an encounter with the Lord.
In reference to the above bible reading i.e Jh.4:23-24 and Ps.95:6 which says,
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
and Ps.95:6 which says,
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
The art of worship means different things to different people who seek, in their own way to find and worship the true God.
What does worship mean to a believer? Jesus revealed some of His greatest insights on worship when He met the Samaritan woman by a pool in Samaria. Those who make Jesus the Lord of their lives are free to worship Him anywhere but it must be done in Spirit and in Truth. The worship in Spirit is not merely the carnal get together adapted to the natural thoughts of man, a temple or house built out of materials found on earth or sacrifices from all kinds of products, a gathering in which wonderful music and costly apperals and instruments are displayed but a deep conviction which makes the worshipper surrender in reverence to his creator, God Almighty. In worship, the soul is lifted into the spirit realm to honour God, have fellowship with Him and pay tribute to Him for who He is and all He has done. It is a time in which the spirit of the believer is one with Christ as Christ is one with God. It is a time to receive information and inspiration. Does this describe your type of worship?

Worshiping God is a way of acknowledging Him for who He is, for what He has done and for what He is capable of doing.
It takes a heart that pants for God to really understand that to worship God is to give Him His food, and to give God His food, we need to present it in a clean atmosphere of our heart.
God loves worship, so we ought to give it to him, because He alone deserves it...

Worship is what God wants from us, one of the many reasons He created us. " Worship in truth and spirit " , the Bible says. We are vessels in God's hand and worshipping him attracts blessings and favour of God.

Excellent contribution to start my day, when we worship in spirit, our soul flies, we forget all the problems, we just want to feel the peace we feel. I particularly spend the day loving it with songs and giving thanks for everything that happens
