Mark 9: 2-13
Six days later, Jesus took Peter, James and John, and led them alone to a high mountain; and transfigured before them. 3 And their garments became resplendent, very white, like snow, so much so that no scrubber on earth can make them so white. 4 And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, who spoke with Jesus. 5 Then Peter said to Jesus: Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three bowers, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah. 6 For he did not know what he was talking about, for they were frightened. 7 Then there came a cloud that overshadowed them, and from the cloud a voice saying: This is my beloved Son; hear him. 8 And then, when they looked, they saw no one else with them, but Jesus alone. 9 And when they were come down from the mountain, he commanded them to tell no one what they had seen, except when the Son of Man had risen from the dead. 10 And they kept the word among themselves, discussing what it would be to raise from the dead. 11 And they asked him, saying, Why do the scribes say that it is necessary that Elijah should come first? 12 He answered and said to them, Elijah indeed shall come first, and restore all things; And how is it written of the Son of Man, who suffers much and is held in nothing? 13 But I say to you that Elijah has already come, and they did everything they wanted, as it is written of him.

Jesus showed the apostles their appearance as God, they had only seen their human appearance, they could know a little of the Glory of God, the bible describes that their clothes were so white and shining that no cleaner or disinfectant could get so much shine, Of course, it was the Lord's brightness, his glory, his majesty.

Moses and Elijah represented in the vision the fulfillment of the promises made in the law and by the prophets, now God commanded to listen to Jesus.

Just for a second I think about the idea that one day I will be able to see the Glory of God in its fullness, I think that if I had been in the shoes of the apostles at that moment I might have fallen faint or crying to see so much beauty.
