Hello brethren of @steemchurch. I bring greetings in the name of the Lord. I must commend all steemians that make wonderful and encouraging posts and contributions to the steemchurch and especially the knight with the shinning armor @sirknight for initiating the #celestialchallenge and then @steemchurch in a our world today where christianity is been opposed. @steemchurch is bridging the gap and promoting the gospel in our ever changing world. Also, the apostles @jaff8- The pure, @prime-electric - the spiritual, @darlenys01 - the bold, @Owoblow-steemit - the righteous,@tremendospercy - the valiant, @tikhub - the insightful,@abiye - the humble, @ @gniksivart - the just of the church are really doing very good but there is more work to be done.

We live in a dangerous world where natural disasters, disease outbreak, human trafficking and other problems have rendered people hopeless. Christians living comfortably are in the best position to bridge the gap when government and authorities have failed us.

MY SUGGESTIONS

The Early church headed by Apostle Paul (the brave) and Apostle Peter (the rock) and other martyrs made big sacrifices to spread the gospel. As a church in a blockchain, we are supposed to impact our world positively. Yes I know we are living in a large world and trying to change it can look impossible but we can start small with our neighbors. Who are our neighbors? Our neighbors are the closest person that needs our help.

The blockchain give steemians opportunity to earn more and we should not see our earnings as another free cash but an opportunity to help the less privileged. So my suggestion for the church is ordain more apostles to curate posts on giving and charity to encourage steemians to give,thereby we can change our world in the little way we can. What if we had the giving apostles? The apostles we have are really doing great but we need more hands on the job.

GIVING
As christians,we were given The Great Commission to spread the Good News but and another way we can do that is by giving. When we give, we show love which is the greatest law of all. Showing love to our immediate neighbour makes people emulate our lifestyle and thereby making them turn to God. So you see, giving is another way of evangelism.

The Bible told us in Matthew 6:1-4

Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

My Mandate

Since I was a boy, I always prayed for a better world. A world free from violence, hunger and racism. Few days ago, I made a Post about my experience about two boys, one was begging for food and another had food but wasted it out of anger. In our world, all fingers are not equal and we were made for one another. I gave the boy money because I had little on me but I felt so good because I impacted a life that day. I joined this platform Mid-October but I am currently taking my undergraduate course in college and so I do not enough time to post regularly but with the few amount I earned on the platform, I was able to support someone with her tuition fee and this is not little as I hope to do more because I am very emotional person and do not like to see people suffer. Little things like this can go a long way in saving a life and turning people to God.

My Decision

I have made up my mind to impact my world in every single way that I can and I have decided to donate a percentage of all my steemchurch posts to charity or anyone around me in dire need of help or assistance and I will show proof of my charity movements to set an example for fellow steemchurch steemians or steemians in general to emulate. So help me GOD

I want to commend @sirknight again for initiating the @steemchurch because it gives christian steemians the chance to earn and teach what they believe in. If I am to vote for a witness on the platform, I would choose @sirknight a million times and over as your contributions to the platform is really beneficial to every one on the platform especially the minnows.
