God desires a balanced growth in his church. Spiritual growth must be proportionate to the physical growth . As the people of God grow in the knowledge of the revelationof God's world

THE PURPOSE OF MIRACLES

• It is to lead sinners and their household to Christ - John 4:46-53

• It convinces simple minds -John 9:24-33.

-To turn norminal and non-commited Church goers to Christ.John11:45-48.

-To silence detractors and to overcome religious bigotry. Acts 13:6-12.

• To exalt the name of the Lord among the heathens. Nehemiah 9:9-10.

-To relieve the health problems of Church member,which medicine cannot solve and thus our full redemptive privileges are enjoyed. Luke13:11-17.

-To confirm the sound doctrine is of God. Mark16:20.

• To strengthen the believers in faith,service and commitment. Luke 7:19-23.

-To lead those who read and hear the acts of these miracles to fear God and believe in Jesus Christ. Joshua 2:9-11.

The Church is planted,grown and sustained by signs and wonders - John 12:9-11,Acts 2:43-47,3:11,4:4,5:12,14 etc.

HOW TO DEVELOP A GENUINE MINISTRY ACCOMPANIED WITH MIRACLES

1. Have a strong desire for the supernatural- Judges 6:13

2. Consecrate yourself. Be holy, a vessel unto honour -Isaiah 52:11.

Read books that will build your faith e.g "Healing the sick" by T.L Osborn, "Christ The Healer" and "How to Receive Miracle healing" by the same author. Smith Wigglesworth's Ever Increasing faith book can be of help too. The development is gradual, so be patient. You have difficulty performing miracle for the first time. After the first miracle, faith seems to be stabilized.

2. Fervent and importunate prayer - Acts 4:29-31

3. Fast as you are led by the spirit of God,and as you desire.

4. Study and follow a scriptural model. Get associated with the man of God and apostles of @steemchurch. Soon,the follower and servant like Elisha will become the next Elisha!
