How Much are you Worth?

1Pe 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

What determines the value of something is how much a person is willing to pay for it. You see a dress on an actress or some other wealthy person. The materials are not really that valuable or expensive, they are willing to pay incredible amounts of money to purchase it, because of the Name of its creator. Spending $10,000 or $100,000 for a dress made with $200 in materials.
The human body is made of about 50 cents worth of materials. Our value comes because of the ONE Who Created us. Our value comes from how much God was willing to pay for us.

God so loved the world He sent His Son! Wow! We were not purchased with silver or gold, but by the precious blood of Jesus. We were made in God's owon image. The value God placed on us and how much He was willing to pay, puts an enormous value on you!

What would be sad, if you don't let the purchase price for you (the suffering and death of Jesus Christ), redeem you from death and the grave, you miss heaven, you never enjoy the incredible joy of having your sins forgiven. The price He paid for you would be in vain. Give your life to Jesus! He gave His Life for you!

Back to the analogy of the expensive dress! Many of these super expensive dresses, I really don’t like. I like sims and don’t like others. But for sure the designer loves all of their own creation.

God isn’t looking to see if you are good looking, smart or talented! He doesn’t get extra excited about a football player in celebrity. If you are wealthy or poor. Educated or not! Can play music, sing well, this does not put you in a higher regard with God. He loves you, simply because He is the One Who created you. He loves us all equally and He paid the highest price to restore fellowship between you and Himself.

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
