Hear and Do the Word - Wisdom
Joh 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
It is time to leave our denominational doctrines behind, if what is taught disagrees with God's Word. If we are deceived, we have nobody to blame besides ourselves. We need to compare everything we hear preached or taught with what the Holy Bible says. We cannot go to the Bible to prove what we already believe, but we go to learn, with humility, replacing our faulty thinking with the way God thinks. Put away the guide post, the bom, the video tapes, the so called "Christian TV". Clear away every distraction, open your bible, find a place at the feet of Jesus. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you, correct you and show you the Truth.
The only way you will truly know truth won't be by following denominational doctrines, but by finding our for yourself, what the Bible clearly teaches.
Your future, your eternity, the eternity of those entrusted to you (children, family, your area of influence) depends on the Truth. We cannot stand before God on judgment day and say, "but Lord, this is what I was taught!"
Please find out what God's Word says. Compare anything you hear with the Bible, reject anything that disagrees with God's Holy Word.
