World renown Evangelist Billy Graham dies at 99, what will You live for?

World renown Evangelist Billy Graham, birth name (William Franklin Graham) born November 7th, 1918 - four days before the end of World War I, dies at age 99.

This isn't so much of a shock, I believe he has gone home to rest in The LORD, he will be missed, but much more importantly his great impact on the world is still felt today.

Billy Graham accomplished alot in his life, here are few:
--Billy Graham gave his heart to Jesus Christ at 16. His profound conversion happened under the ministry of traveling evangelist Mordecai Ham.
--Answering God’s call to the ministry, he was ordained in 1939 by a church in the Southern Baptist Convention.
--Married in 1941
--Gained primary evangelistic experience on radio, then through Youth for Christ - an organization founded to minister to young people and servicemen during World War II. This opened doors for interdenominational city-wide campaigns
--Joined with Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. to battle racism.
--Known as The Pastor to Presidents, a friend of 11 commanders in chief, Democrats and Republicans alike.

--Since 1955, Billy Graham was listed a record 54 times, by the Gallup organization, as one of the “10 most admired men in the world,” including 48 times consecutively – more than any other person in history.

Like the apostle Paul, Billy Graham was not ashamed to share the gospel with people in power.

Franklin Graham said, “He has stayed focused on telling men and women about Jesus Christ. His ministry, his life, every speaking engagement, every opportunity with a president or a king or whoever, he would always get the conversation right around to the Gospel.”

This is a life well lived, an example to follow.
There is nothing worth more than living for GOD in this life.
