Prophet Elijah's Restoration Ministry pt1
Good evening steemians. This is gonna be my first post. Prophet Elijah is one famous character of the Bible, who lived in the days of King Ahab; King of Israel. He is known for the famous Mount Carmel showdown where he killed about 450 prophets of Baal. Before he was taken up in the chariots of fire, he mantle fell upon Elisha his servant.
But according to the book of Malachi 4:5-6; Elijah was prophesied to come before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
Elijah truly came in the person of John the Baptist according to Matthew 11:13. But the truth is John the Baptist did not restore all things. He only fulfilled a part of the prophecy of Malachi 4:5-6 by turning the hearts of the Pharisees (fathers) to babes (disciples).
Who then is the Elijah that will restore all things???
Elijah was a major prophet of the holy bible, he performed a lot of extraordinary miracle that hasn't been performed till date. Thanks for sharing this @ marvelpiano
