Santiago 1: 2-4
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you find yourself in various trials,
3 knowing that the test of your faith produces patience.
4 But let patience have its complete work, that you may be perfect and complete, without lacking anything.

God uses tribulation as an opportunity in our lives for his power to be glorified and to demonstrate his strength. He never wastes our suffering. All pain that allows will use it as a process with purpose.

Testing the scripture in a biblical way provides an extremely wonderful opportunity for us to demonstrate, as a "spectacle" that the world is observing, the presence and power of God in our lives.

Daniel 6: 26- 28
teaches us about the process that Daniel lived in the midst of a great trial and how the power of God was glorified

the Bible says:

26 On my part an ordinance is set, that in all the lordship of my kingdom all fear and tremble from the presence of the God of Daniel: for he is the living and permanent God forever, and his kingdom will not be waste, and his lordship to the end.

27 Who saves and delivers, and performs signs and wonders in heaven and on earth; who delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

28 And this Daniel was prospered during the reign of Darius, and during the reign of Cyrus, Persia.

Daniel Was Put To The Test
The lion's den served as an important test for Daniel. He could have let his heart fill with fear, but he resisted that fear. He could have complained to God about that situation, but he resisted the temptation to complain. He entered the lions' den trusting God and he came out of the pit like a man tried on another level.

You Must Be Tested
You must be put to the test. You must DIE YOURSELF until you are ready to become the person that God has called you to be.

Daniel did not try to fight the lion with his own strength. He died to himself, trusted in God, and God made sure that he got it right.

Everyone is Tested
The one who passes the test triumphs. Daniel had to overcome the lion's den to become the person he was called to be. Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego had to endure and overcome the furnace of fire.

For Moses, it was to spend 40 years in the desert, thinking that he had disqualified himself from his mission.

For David, it was to be more than 10 years in exile, always on the move as a fugitive.

For Joseph, he spent 13 years as a slave, serving Potiphar and then in jail.

For Pablo, it was to spend three years in isolation, learning from his past and preparing for his future. For Jesus it was 40 days in the desert, fasting and being tempted by satan.

I do not know what it is for you, but your testimony certainly has a "test" component in it. You will never become the man or woman that God has called you to be if you are not willing to accept the grace of God to face, fight and overcome every challenge that comes your way! I am not saying that you have to pass the test with your power (since you probably can not), but I am saying that YOU CAN pass the test by the grace of God.

The secret is in dying to yourself and giving in to God and His grace

a) God will allow you to experience what you have to experience in order to develop a godly character.

b) When you reach the point where you have submitted, when you have DEATHED YOURSELF, when you have waned and you are ready for God to flow through you, then and only then can you experience the life for which you came into the world .

c) God is not going to compete with you, His strength will only flow through your weakness.

d) God is not looking for the capacity of your mind or the strength of your back, He only seeks the condition of your heart. Daniel's heart was fine, so God could have him promoted under the regimes of four different kings.

Is your heart right? When your heart is aligned with the heart of God, there is no limit to what God can do through you. That's why the test is important.

The tests help to develop the condition of your heart.

Let God mold you and bring out the best in you, the best of your heart! GOD IS GOOD AND HE WANTS THE BEST FOR YOU @Sirknight, @Darlenys y toda la comunidad de Steemchurch!!! Blessing

The Word of God teaches us that in order to be disciples of Christ we need to deny ourselves (die) (Matt 16:24, Mar 834, Luc 9:23). To understand this, we first need to understand what "ourselves" means. Jesus spoke to his disciples repeatedly about taking up his cross (an instrument of death) and following it. He made it clear that if someone was going to follow him, he had to deny himself, which meant giving up his life, spiritually, symbolically, and even physically, if necessary. This was a prerequisite for being a follower of Christ, who proclaimed that trying to save our earthly life would result in losing our life in the kingdom.

Quite true my leader! Self-denial is prerequisite to following christ

Quite true my leader. Self-denial is prerequisite in following Christ.

Whosoever wants to follow Jesus to the end must be ready to die to self and surrender all to God. There is a reward in dying to self as it would enable you serve God better and more effectively.
