The simplest way to explain what it means to "be born again" is to leave our old sinful and carnal way of thinking, speaking and acting. However, being born again goes beyond the change and transformation that a true believer longs to achieve, because to say that we are new creatures because we believe in Jesus Christ and because we do things for Him is easy, the difficult thing is to live what we say and to to do it we only have one form: "death" Death? As well? Something also simple to say, but experience a painful and complex process; However, death is what we have to experience every day of our life as it is time to meet with God the Father in the heavenly regions.

Many people know, they say that they believe and that they understand the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made on the cross, so his "wisdom" leads them to see that supernatural moment as another event, religious and historical. However, I believe that every day we will find a new teaching that reveals the wisdom of this great divine event, why? because most of us say that we are Christians, that we believe in Jesus Christ as the Savior of humanity, that we are new creatures because one day we made a prayer of faith and that it is He who governs our lives, but when it comes to demonstrating it with the fruits it can show something totally different from what Jesus wants us to live; For example, we can not say that we are born again if we are full of pride, pride, hatred, resentment, anger, anger, disrespect, gossip, envy, lies, greed and deceit, etc. How can this be possible? The Lord wants us to give ourselves to Him as a living and holy sacrifice every day of our existence, this is the true way of worshiping Him, not imitating the behaviors or customs of this world, but rather letting God transform us into new people. renew our mind according to his word; then whatever we think, speak and do will be according to his will, which by the way is good, pleasant and perfect; therefore what we think, speak and do must be good, nice and perfect, not bad, hateful and destructive. (See Romans 12: 1-2).

When you are willing to die for Jesus Christ it means that you are willing to stop sinning so you like to sin, you decide to stop being the center of attention and give that place to the one who corresponds, to your Lord and Savior; then, if you are irresponsible stop being irresponsible, if you are a thief you stop stealing, if you are a liar you stop lying, if you are rude you stop being, if you are proud you become humble, if you are spiteful you become loving, if you are adulterous or unfaithful you do not do it again, if you are a fornicator you decide to save yourself for the Lord, if you have vices you decide to abandon them, if you are rebellious you become meek and humble, etc. Sin is normal for the world but if we have received Jesus Christ seriously in our life, then we no longer belong to those of the world and we stop doing what they do because what they do is pleasing to Satan.

Being born again requires our daily death to sin and evil, it is a constant and permanent task because sin walks around us, seizing us to trap us; But if we really confess Jesus Christ and believe in Him as we say, we will take control over sin and die to the need to sin so that it hurts and costs us. At least let's not make it so easy for sin and give it war. May the Lord see our effort not to sin, our desire to please Him in everything and that He is giving us the power of the Spirit to overcome our flesh every time he tries to get up and if he gets up, crucify him again in Christ Jesus so that every day lose greater strength and be ruled by the Spirit and not by our sinful nature.

I invite you to unite against sin, let us pray for each other so that we may be strengthened in love, faith, forgiveness, justice, peace and holiness that we should exercise as children of God. Christ overcame sin on the cross, now it is up to us to live according to his sacrifice and his resurrection by participating in the new life he gives us by his infinite grace and mercy. If we live for Him we can also experience his victory, his resurrection every day of our lives.

Let's strive to please God in everything, He will do what is most difficult for us to "help us die to sin"!
