They want things to work and to do well, and it may be that in that legitimate desire we get to the point of forgetting that people are more important than things. When this happens, we may become rigid and intolerant.

I agree that the rules must be fulfilled, but it is also important to have a certain degree of flexibility, so that those who live in a home feel happy and satisfied in their midst. Neither tyranny will be the solution to guide the home on the right track, nor will it be to give a "free letter" so that each person can do what he / she thinks best.

And he forgets to be flexible and maintain an open attitude and willing to change if necessary. He forgets that adapting is not synonymous with being rigid but being flexible.

Once you have decided to adopt a more flexible posture, prepare yourself. To be flexible it is important that you take into account the following aspects:
• The members of a family are individuals with different needs, interests and ages.
• Everyone should collaborate at home with the skills they possess.
• The home is at the service of its members, not its members in the service of the home. This means that each space must be functional, each rule must be logical and each task appropriate to the person in charge of carrying it out.
• Fulfilling the rules should cause well-being and not upset.
• Standards should change gradually as the family evolves.
• The mother is the queen of the home, not a policeman.
• That all household members seek together to enthrone Christ in everything they do as a family.
Soon we will be part of the great family of heaven, and therefore we have to prepare now.
