Justice protects the one who walks in integrity, but evil ruins the sinner. Proverbs 13: 6

The word "corruption" has become very common in our society; We see it in the press, we hear it on radio and television, we find it in literature and it is for everyday use on the street and in homes. The fact is that many people have a high ethical code by which they evaluate others; however, perhaps the lives of some of them are tainted in private by the lack of honesty, fraud or some other defect or bad performance. This trend, which seems to be increasing, affects both men and women equally.

When we speak of integrity, we refer to a value that is vital for good living. Personal integrity supposes a complete person, without folds, someone who does not have two faces. Someone who is reliable both in his speech and in his way of acting. It is simply a person who acts with transparency. We, those of us who love God and have accepted Christ as our personal savior, consider ourselves "Christian," and we wish that the world, as we contemplate our actions, recognize us as such. God is pleased when we achieve that.

A definition of integrity is "the quality of the consequence and sincerity, without disappointment or pretense" and one of the definitions in another dictionary is "the quality or state of being of principles"

All women face adverse circumstances. The difficult moment comes because of the abandonment of the man you have loved, or for not receiving the love and respect you deserve, for a rebellious son, for the medical diagnosis of an incurable disease, for a deplorable economic situation, and the list is It would be very long. But friend, my question is: What attitude are you taking in front of your situation? Remember: You are simply a woman, and attitude is what counts.

The Bible in the book of Ruth tells the story of three Naomi women, Ruth and Orpah, who faced a similar situation, but each took a different attitude.

NOEMÍ.-
An anguished, afflicted woman, a housewife. (Ruth 1: 1-3) Forced by hunger in their land Bethlehem which means: House of bread, had to leave from there.

A sad widow 1: 3-5 regrets the death of her husband and two children.

A careful mother-in-law. Ruth 1: 6-9. Eager to be nice to her two daughters-in-law, but how to be like this in this situation? He says to them: Go, return each to your mother's house; May God do with you mercy, as you have done with the dead and with me. Then he kissed them, and they raised their voices and cried.

A poor woman Ruth 1: 21-22 He returned to his place of origin to be supported by the kindness of his friends.

ORFA .-
He kissed his mother-in-law, leaves her in pain. Ruth 1: 15-18

RUT. -
Decision woman Ruth 1: 16-17. She decides to follow her mother-in-law, take her God and die where she died.

We need quality friends. At all times the friend and friend loves, but there is more unity than a brother. Proverbs 17:17.

Pro-active woman. Ruth 2: 2-5 . She did not settle down, she thought about doing something and asked her mother-in-law to go and look for work. Proactive prepare, Reagents, repair.

Tireless woman Ruth 2: 6-7 He worked for a long period, without resting even for a moment.

Humble woman Ruth 2: 10. When confronted with the man for whom she works, she lowers her face before him acknowledging that she is a foreigner. He who humbles himself will be exalted?

In very practical terms, integrity encompasses truthfulness and honesty, even when practicing these qualities hurts us. At its roots the qualities and behavior of truth and honesty are very similar and very related. Because they are the opposite of deception, lack of integrity. and I will take as an example the life of a Christian who does not have integrity, which is typical of some people.

This Christian longs to be seen as a strong, wise and capable person, but he thinks that others do not see him that way. Instead of being all that he can be by the power of God and being happy with himself, he wants to present himself as more than he is. Tell your wife how the boss is pleased with your work.
When he is fired, he explains that he resigned because the work conditions were not good. He tells him that he has another job opportunity when there is not.
These husbands are Christians; they are members of one another. But, they can not help themselves because of a lack of confidence.

The woman who calls herself Christian will be so when she submits to the will of her Creator and shows in her character flashes of the divine personality. If integrity determines its existence, there will be coherence between its public and private life. You will not have to try to look "good" because it really is.

Friend, God calls us to walk in integrity. It is time to ask for help from the only one who can change the dark aspects of our personality: sinful tendencies, impure thoughts, erroneous behaviors. Remember God's warning, which the wise man well expressed: "The righteous are guided by their integrity; false ones are destroyed by their hypocrisy "(Proverbs 11: 3).

We generally think that our lies, deceit and dishonesty will in some way benefit us. But does integrity have benefits? If you have them, although sometimes integrity does not always guarantee success.

The temptation to sin is based on a benefit that we hope to achieve. Be honored, keep our word, tell the truth, sometimes it means a loss.

Psalm, 112: 5-8 says similarly, "the good man ... will not be afraid of bad news; His heart is firm, trusting in Jehovah. Your heart is assured; He will not fear. "

Proverbs 22: 1. In addition, the reputation of God, the gospel and the church is at stake whenever we are tempted to give in to sin. Those who do not believe in Christ find another excuse for not trusting in Christ when they hear that a Christian has been discovered in sin. Peter stressed the importance of our behavior when he wrote, "keeping your way of life among the Gentiles good; so that in what they murmur about you as evildoers, glorify God on the day of visitation, by considering your good works".

That the decorous and the decent, the pure and the true, the good and the holy, are the hallmarks of our personality. Never let your acting leave a shadow of a doubt! "Do not be content with just listening to the Word, for that is how you deceive yourselves. Take it to practice. He who listens to the Word but does not put it into practice is like the one who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, he leaves and immediately forgets how he is "(James 1: 22-24).
