God's time is not my time

Today with the so-called modern life everything is very fast in fractions of a second can communicate with the other side of the world. Know what is happening around the world, talk to anyone from anywhere on the planet in the blink of an eye. Through the computer, television, telephones and often we do not have the patience to wait for the blessings of God in our lives. We want everything to happen like that on a dais of fingers. But everything has the right time.

Sometimes we receive a word from God and that begins to take a long time to happen there, we begin to be anxious and doubtful will it be that it was with me that God spoke that day? So long ago and nothing happened until now. We know that God's time is not our time, just as his thoughts and ways are not ours.

God knows the right time to bless his ways, just as his thoughts are totally different from what we think we are. Why my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways, my ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55.8,9) If God spoke, it will be fulfilled in God's time. Why?

He is not a man to lie or a son of man to repent. Would he say, and would not he? Or would he talk and not confirm? (Numbers 23:19) In the 12th chapter of Genesis God begins a great work in the life of Abraham's command that Abraham out of his land and the means of his kinship, and promises that he would make a great nation bless him, that he would to be a blessing and more bless those who bless them and curse those who curse them.

And the LORD said to Abraham, Get out of your land, and from your relatives, and from your father's house, into the land that I will show you, I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and I will bless you. I magnified your name, and you will be a blessing. And I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you; and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed. (Genesis 12.1,2,3)

In verse 16 of chapter 17 comes the promise that Abraham would have a son: Because I will bless her and give you a son; and he will bless her, and she will be mother of the nations; the kings of the people will come out of it. (Genesis 17:16) Abraham at that time 100 years and Sarah 90 when God promised him a son sees Abraham said - Abram fell on his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, 'a man of a hundred years born a son? And will Sara conceive at the age of ninety? Genesis 17.17
By the time three angels appeared to say that at this point in life Sara would have a son who also laughed. Gn 18.10,11,12.

Maybe you are laughing and thinking will be possible. Sometimes your problem is very big and it's been a long time. From the call of Abraham until the birth of Isaac his son spent 25 (VINTE AND FIVE YEARS), Abraham also found it impossible because his age and Sarah was too advanced to have a child. You would like him to read Genesis 18.10.15, in verse 14 in part a of the verse says:

"It is something that is difficult for Jehovah" Gen. 18.14ª (RC)
in other versions:

• "There is something difficult about Jehovah" (NIV)
• THERE is "opportunity, because the Lord is something that is difficult" (RA)
  what is difficult for me and for you is easy for God. What is humanly impossible for God is possible.

Why nothing is impossible for God. (Luke 1:37)
If your problem is very good to know that God is small, what is ideal for you to God is insignificant, there is no problem that you can not solve. Why our God is sovereign, not the door that can not open, just believe, trust and know how to wait for God's time looking for worshiping God every day in prayer. In the 21st chapter of Genesis we can see the arrival of God's time in the life of Abraham and Sarah.

And the Lord visited Sarah, as he had said; and the LORD did to Sarah as he had spoken, and he conceived Sarah and gave Abraham a son in his old age, AT THE TIME DETERMINED, which GOD had given him. (Genesis 21: 1,2)
