God always keeps His promises

source

Today there are so many people who lie or do not keep their promises, it is not surprising that many people find it increasingly difficult to trust others. Maybe you loved or disappointed someone you believed in. Does that mean that you can not trust anyone? Fortunately, there is someone who deserves our total and absolute confidence. The Bible advises: Trust in Jehovah with all our Heart (Proverbs 3: 5). Why are we sure that God will never disappoint us? Let's look at verse 21 of chapter 45 of the book that Joshua wrote, a man who trusted fully in Jehovah
Joshua 21:45

Not missing a word of the good promises that the LORD had made to the house of Israel, all were fulfilled.

TYPES OF PROMISES

The Bible contains 2 kinds of divine promises:

• The unconditional

• Conditional

source

An unconditional promise is one whose fulfillment belongs only to the Lord, his commitment is not subject to people or situations. One example would be God's guarantee of never sending another.
The second kind of divine promise is the conditional. In other words, the Lord is willing to act under certain circumstances. It is usually a statement of YES ... then, and implies our participation. Let's see three conditional promises that have to do with the salvation

• Forgiveness: It tells us in (Romans 10: 9) that the promise of salvation is for those who confess with their mouths and believe in their hearts that Jesus is the Lord.
• If we come to the Lord with a sincere confession of sin, we have the guarantee of cleansing and divine forgiveness (1 John 1: 9). The fulfillment of this promise by the Lord depends on our obedient behavior.
• Wisdom: (James1: 5-6)* It tells us to ask God for wisdom, without doubting that we will receive it. If we approach the Lord with Faith, He will give us understanding.

THE PROMISES OF GOD IN THE BIBLE:

(Joshua 21:45)
I do not miss a word of the good promises that the LORD had made to the house of our Israel, all were fulfilled.
(Joshua 23:14)

Behold, today I am going in the way of the whole earth, and you know with all your heart and with all your soul that none of the good words that the LORD your God spoke about you has been lacking; all have been fulfilled, none of them has been lacking.

(1 Kings 8:56)

Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised; no word has failed of all his good promise that he made through his servant Moses.

REFLECTION:

God never fails to keep his promises, God is always faithful, he will never promise you something that afterwards does not fulfill God always fulfills his time but fulfills, he is not like the man who does not fulfill his words if he fulfills you, so never stop doubting what God has given you, until next time.
