Danilo Montero
Danilo Montero converted to Christianity at the age of 10 when he was invited to the great divine healing campaign that later changed its name to Oasis de Esperanza in Costa Rica in 1973. After attending this Pentecostal church, he had the opportunity to direct the songs in his church.
Currently, Danilo Montero is an associate pastor of Lakewood Church, whose lead pastor is Joel Osteen. From June of 2012 before the departure of Marcos Witt for health reasons, Danilo assumes the main pastorate of the Hispanic ministry in this congregation constituted by more than 6000 people, thus initiating a new stage in his pastoral ministry.
He has written several Christian books such as The Father's Hug and Generation of Worshipers.
He married Gloriana Díaz on April 22, 2006, in a hotel in San José, Costa Rica, before a large number of witnesses, and Rev. Rey Matos, 8 Raúl Vargas and Rev. Ricardo Salazar, pastor of the Iglesia Vida Abundante. Montero also runs a praise ministry called Follow Me International, where he is the principal director of praise. He has lectured on praises for more than eight years.
