Daniel Calveti
Daniel Calveti
He was born in Caracas, Venezuela on November 29, 1977, and at the young age of five he began to sing and preach with his parents. At age 12 he settled in Houston, Texas with his parents and siblings. When he was 17 years old, he moved with his family to Puerto Rico, and entered the Colegio Bautista de Caguas to finish his High School. This educational institution, in which he participated as a Spiritual Leader, granted him a scholarship.
Later, he entered the Sacred Heart University where he founded the Committee of Young Christians (CJC). Daniel and his family, composed of his beloved wife Shari, who represents for him half the purpose that God has given him, Isaac Daniel, his first son, and Nathan Gabriel, the youngest, reside in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Daniel and Shari are active leaders in the Centro Cristiano Fruto de la Vid Church in Caguas, Puerto Rico, who are pastored by their parents Juan and Angelica Calveti, who instructed the young musician in the love of Jesus. Daniel began to compose songs for God as a result of the time of prayer and fellowship with God. They are personal experiences, explains Daniel; they simply come to my mind in the time that I am alone with Him in prayer, and these songs have transcended borders touching the hearts of people throughout the world, helping them to deepen their relationship with God. Daniel thinks it is important to focus on working on the character of the Christian, and believes that the deepest changes of the human being are only made in intimacy with the presence of God.
His first album, entitled Sólo tu Gracia, occupied the first places of sale in Christian bookstores in Puerto Rico. The most recognized themes of this production were The Last Word, Jesus, make my character, Only your grace and Holy Spirit, among others. These songs have been a great blessing and impact in every place and presentation where he has ministered. Currently, Daniel Calveti is part of the Canzion Group, founded and chaired by Marcos Witt. Daniel has presented himself to share times of Praise, Adoration and The Word of God in different parts of the world: United States, the Caribbean, Central America, South America and Europe.
After a successful career, both in the Christian musical environment and in the secular environment with the theme "The Last Word," he now returns with a new musical project. Vivo para Ti is the title of the most recent record by Daniel Calveti. This production at its launch, broke sales records in the first two hours. Her first single: La Niña de tus Ojos, took the first places in the stations of Puerto Rico and the United States. He also stood out in second place in the Billboard Latino. The vision of this project is to present a devotional model, both personal and congregational, which highlights three important stages that must not be missed in time with God. The first stage is a time of celebration and gratitude to God for what He has done and will do. The second stage is a time where all the lyrics of the songs are focused on the need we have for God to minister to us. The third stage is the most important, although often forgotten in congregations and in personal devotions. This is where all the lyrics of the songs are directed to minister the heart of God; This means that he is worshiped for what He is.
It is in this part of the devotional where all the attention and passion is dedicated, knowing that it is no longer about us, but Him. Daniel Calveti is recognized for his sympathy and humility, virtues that have opened doors and led to the Recognized worshiper to interact with all kinds of public. Daniel recognizes that only the grace of God has allowed him to achieve his greatest desire: to minister the heart of the Father, leading the people to the presence of God.
