ADVANCE GOD'S KINGDOM
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
Matthew 11:12
The kingdom of God is an ever advancing kingdom. It keeps on advancing unstoppable, despite the opposition of the devil. Every believer has the mandate from God to pursue the global advancement of God's kingdom.
Let's consider ways with which God's kingdom can be advanced.
- Through worship investment and establishment.
It is the instrument of praise and worship that brings down God's presence, power and kingdom. Be a sold out and true worshipper.
Daniel 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
- Through preaching and soul winning.
Evangelism and soul winning turns and changes both individuals and communities to God. So, as people of God, we are obliged to continually preach the gospel to others.
1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
- Through warfare prayer.
Psalms 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
- Through growing in wealth and influence.
To advance God's kingdom, God's people must arise to positions of wealth, power and influence, then deploy their influence to change lives for God.
Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
Beloved, the key to subduing territories is by kingdom advancement. The idleness of God's people can frustrate the advancement of God's kingdom. Rise up and work for God's kingdom to be advanced today.
