"...and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass." (Rev. 21:21)

my fellow steemians and members of Steem church have this taught ever crossed your mind?yesterday as I was meditating I found my self imagining this so I decided to share it with you all.

It's pleasant and relaxing to sit down and keep our eyes closed and imagine in our mind Johns description of the great and awesome City. We glance around and see the immense and high walls which are made of Jasper. actually, the entire city is made of unadulterated gold like a clear glass. The establishments of the walls are embellished with all sort of valuable stones. We see that there are twelve gates and they are all pearls. What an excellent and beautiful our river that streams from the honored position of God! And at long last, we look down and to our joy, the lanes are pure gold. What a lovely City that He has arranged for us! Heaven will be superb!
unfortunately, we need to open our eyes and understand that we are still here. The trumpet of the Lord has not sounded yet. We haven't been raptured away to be with Him. We aren't yet strolling on road made of gold; no, we are as yet strolling on the tarred road made of asphalt.

Ever feel discouraged? Ever have a craving for giving up? Ever feel like you simply aren't making a difference? Everything you are doing is in vain? Like nobody is giving a listening ear to what you are saying?

If your answer to this questions is yes, don't worry. You are not a bad preacher You haven't failed the test. actually, you are not alone. There are numerous preachers of the Gospel just like you who are in the same boat. Frustrations of regular day to day existence, dissatisfactions in the service, and a greater amount of these negative sentiments flourish.
We don't claim to have achieved a state of perfection yet. We are not yet on our heavenly bodies. We are still human. We are going to make mistakes. We are going to make wrong decisions. truth be told, we are going to tumble down from time to time. Sometimes as a flag bearer of the gospel or profound leader we assume that we are the exemption to the rule. That to be an awesome leader we can't make mistakes. We are convinced that if we do commit an error or a terrible choice that we will be looked on as a failure. We beat ourselves up finished committing these errors nearly to the point of surrendering up. Don't give!

Continue getting back up! One of the most regularly cited sacred writings is Micah 7:8, which happens to be one of my most loved verses:

"Cheer not against me, O mine adversary: when I fall, I should emerge; when I sit in obscurity, the LORD might be a light unto me."

Notice that the prophet wrote when and not if I fall or sit in darkness. Things will happen. Life happens. Mistakes will be made. We will settle on wrong choices each now and then. We must be established and grounded enough that at whatever point these things do happen we will have enough strength to get up and keep fighting. truth be told, when those who follow you realize that you have experienced a hard trial in your life and could get up once more, it will persuade and urge them to do likewise.
Since we need to remember that in addition to the fact that we are "as yet strolling on a tarred road," however so are the individuals from the congregation. They will make mistakes. They will sin. The vocalists and artists will stagger and fall. The leader of your group will too. any individual who has blood in his vein will sin. When, and not if, these things do happen, we need to manage them in love. We need to tend to them gently. We need to enable them to get go down again. They realize that they have committed an error and we are to manage them appropriately. We need to pick our words precisely and with insight. Solomon composed:

"A word fitly talked resembles apples of gold in pictures of silver." (Proverbs 25:11)

Petition God for God to utilize you and to speak with you. Continuously remember how Jesus managed sinners. He managed them with empathy and cherishing kindness. we will probably endeavor to mirror Him.

Continue holding on. Soon and soon, we will stroll on paths made of gold.

I am particularly happy with the direction with which you have taken this
Nice write up mate

We are going to make mistakes. We are going to make wrong decisions. truth be told, we are going to tumble down from time to time.
We are humans and imperfect, we need to acknowledge our sins and error. Petitioning God for forgiveness and guidance in strolling down the tarred road of life.

This is what it look like when you are in love with christ.
When you trust in God .
When you do his will and follow his parts

Great post I really liked it. Some days I really can't wait to be in heaven and to walk on the streets of gold but especially to be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for writing the post, may you be blessed abundantly!

As we walk in imperfection, we can take delight in the absolute perfection we already walk in. The perfection of Christ Jesus. He is our covering, our Advocate, our Strong Tower and Deliverer. In Him we are positionally perfect and as we walk in this knowledge, His ways start to show in our walk. We conform to His Character and likeness. We are no longer given over to sin, but we may fail the test now and then along the way.
This is a really great and thought prevoking and encouraging post! Perhaps you are a Barnabas. Son of Encouragement!
God bless!
