STEEMCHURCH: Don't live without God
Ephesians 2:11-12
12AMP:Therefore, remember that at one time you were Gentiles (heathens) in the flesh, called Uncircumcision by those who called themselves Circumcision, [itself a mere mark] in the flesh made by human hands.
13: [Remember] that you were at that time separated (living apart) from Christ [excluded from all part in Him], utterly estranged and outlawed from the rights of Israel as a nation, and strangers with no share in the sacred compacts of the [Messianic] promise [with no knowledge of or right in God’s agreements, His covenants]. And you had no hope (no promise); you were in the world without God.
As I said earlier, "The yearning for substance is universal, and by no means a bad thing". But of a truth the question is not whether we yearn for or pursue meaning and purpose.
The question is:
where or what direction are we moving to find it?
What do we rely on to make our life worth living?
What are we hoping will save us?
Is it work?
Pleasure?
Wisdom?
Our children?
Our marriage?
Beauty?
Sex?
Possessions?
Position?
Reputation?
All these listed questions are the problems we face when we live our life as though God is not in existence. Anyone who lives outside Christ lives outside grace so I would say that living without Christ is like a car without a steering.
Anybody who is living without Christ, his protect-ive power is exposing him to all the dangers posed by the world.
But every believe who lives with Christ in them is a victorious conquer-or over his grand enemy (the world).
This is more so because as Christ has the world under His feet so also the genuine believer is riding on this victory of his Master to stand as a conqueror.
Living without Christ means that an individual is living in sin which will bring about sufferings and troubles that will leads to destruction. He cannot be able to avoid the crises of the world because he is not under the divine protections that come from the God.
That is why our Lord Jesus Christ forewarned us in John 16:33, AMP:"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]"
He told us about the inevitability of the trouble of the world and how we can overcome them.
John 15:4-5 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
God is merciful and righteous that he will not allow his children to take part in the suffering of the world. But then trust in him, and find satisfaction in him to be able to enjoy his unfailing love and grace.
Jeremiah 10:23 I know, O LORD, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.
NOTE: Without God you would have no life at all. Outside of Christ there is no reality

Hi Ladywayne1
Your presentation in this teaching is very captivating! It is great to recognize that the woman and the man who walk in the right direction with God will find the meaning of true life.
