"He who is generous, prospers; he who gives also receives.
PROVERBS 11.- Jehovah hates false weight (verse 1), to increase his profits, many merchants used two pairs of measures to weigh the merchandise, they placed the lightest weight on the scales when selling (to give less quantity at the same price ) and used the heaviest when they bought (to get more for the same price). The Vers. 9-15 speak of the relationships between the community: the neighbor (Verses 9, 12), the city (Vers 10-11), the gossipers (Ver. 13), the counselors of the nation (Ver. 14) and the guarantor (Vers.15). Verses 16-31 refer to the rewards of a just and kind life.
SELECTED APPOINTMENT.- The Lord says: "Blessed are you who sow beside all waters." Sowing together with all the waters means giving wherever our help is needed. This will not be a cause of poverty. "He who sows generously will also reap generously." By spreading the seed, the sower multiplies it. In the same way, by sharing with others, we increase our blessings. The promise of God ensures abundance, so that we continue to give. Moreover, by imparting blessings in this life, the gratitude of the one who receives them prepares the heart to receive the spiritual truth and a harvest is produced for eternal life. (ED 99).
PRACTICING THE GENEROSITY.- We are exhorted to show generosity towards the people that surround us. He who is stingy and does not help others will always be in need (Ver. 24). However, when giving liberally, there is abundance (2 Cor 9: 6). To thrive continually, share: a smile, handshake, affectionate hugs, encouragement, advice, time, cooking recipes, food, clothing, and money.
BENEFITS OF SHARING. By sharing the unmerited blessings of God, we will receive: smiles of gratitude, tears of happiness, and we will experience the satisfaction of sharing and being useful to humanity.

This is another case where someone takes a verse out of context and then misapplies it. The verse in Isaiah is part of what God is saying to Israel. Despite the fact that God is about to bring famine and desolate the country, God promises a time of future blessings for Israel. The last verses talks about planting crops. It's not about investing.
(Isaiah 32:10-20 NIV) In little more than a year you who feel secure will tremble; the grape harvest will fail, and the harvest of fruit will not come. {11} Tremble, you complacent women; shudder, you daughters who feel secure! Strip off your clothes, put sackcloth around your waists. {12} Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vines {13} and for the land of my people, a land overgrown with thorns and briers-- yes, mourn for all houses of merriment and for this city of revelry. {14} The fortress will be abandoned, the noisy city deserted; citadel and watchtower will become a wasteland forever, the delight of donkeys, a pasture for flocks, {15} till the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest. {16} Justice will dwell in the desert and righteousness live in the fertile field. {17} The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever. {18} My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest. {19} Though hail flattens the forest and the city is leveled completely, {20} how blessed you will be, sowing your seed by every stream, and letting your cattle and donkeys range free.
I see a lot of focus on BLESSINGS and PROSPERITY. Instead people should look to loving and serving God and not looking for ways to get more from God than they give to God.
