Matthew 28:17-20 King James Version (KJV)

17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Christ gave his disciples a great command to preach the gospel when he was about leaving the earth, the disciples were already saved, but he's chided them to fulfill his ultimate mission of preaching his word and bringing people into coigniscance about his sacrificial atonement and sufferings on the cross.
Christ's death is what brought grace and salvation, and hence a whole lot if people are still in bondage and ignorant of Christ's sacrifices, and that's why Christ gave a command to every Christian to go to the world and preach the gospel, GO" is an action word and it means that preaching God's gospel will required action, of which we do not set condition, because it's already a mandate, a will to be followed.

People tend to state excuses in preaching God's words, at first Moses gave excuses to God that he was a stammerer, others give excuse that they're too busy, both this mandate has been set out already by God

THE ANOINTING FOR THE COMMISSION

Matthew 28:18-20 New King James Version (NKJV)

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

19 Go [a]therefore andmake disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” [b]Amen.

Christ's great commission was made publicly to his disciples., and when this was made he assured his disciples of power and anointing to make them fearless and ready for the work, this power came in form of the holy spirit, the comforter, and when the disciples got this power in the upper room, they did exploits.
before the tongues of fire rested on the apostles in the upper room, they were afraid, but after they were anointed for the commission Peter preached to 3000 people and they repented of their sins

Acts 1:8 King James Version (KJV)

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

The assignments of Christ to the disciples did not come without empowerment, he empowered them, so also Christ will empower you, if you take on his assignments to preach his gospel.
Paul the apostle did great exploits for God, because God empowered him, and he embraced the power of God, have you embraced the word for God? Have you made yourself available to the kingdom of God?

THE APPROACH OF THE CHRISTIAN.

John 15:3-5 New King James Version (NKJV)

3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

As Christians we need approach in preaching the word of God, in other to preach God's gospel we must abide in God, never trusting in our strength.
God has chosen you and ordained you, and there's no excuse at all, unless you're not saved but lost.

Acts 9:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

Paul became a chosen vessel of God because he was ordained as a result of his amazing conversion, and he retraced his steps and was doing God's bidding.

Act 20 Vs 20

Like Paul the apostle our past lives is not an excuse at all, Paul did more despicable things but he embraced God and executed his work and went on to become the greatest apostle.

THE ASSURANCE OF CHRIST

Psalms 37:4

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Luke 10:19 King James Version (KJV)

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

In the book of Isaiah God promised to be with us even till the end.
In preaching the gospel God assures us of total protection, total guidance and blessings, as Christians we never serve God in vain, because he's a rewarder of those that diligently seek him
Nevertheless Christ's mandatory commission is our primary assignments as Christian the bible says the harvest is plenty but the husbandmen are few and that's why we need to be a husbandman in the vineyard of God, helping to populate hia Kingdom, by preaching his words to all nation

Jesus commanded us to make disciples in all the nations that is the mandate of Him towards us and that is our work because Jesus has the authority in heaven as on earth. WE MUST GIVE TO KNOW THE WORD OF GOD
