Cursed be everyone who curses you and blessed be those who bless you (Genesis 27: 29)

One of the most powerful forces that exists in our world is blessings and curses. For their effects are seen all around us. If we believe in blessing, then we must believe also in curses, because the opposite of blessing is cursing. And the Bible doesn't shy away from both. The truth is, we can choose which one we want within the confines of divine law.
By my observation, most Christians lack insight into these powerful forces which confront us and affect our success, progress and even descendants.
When God called Abraham, He called him for greatness and prominence. For God wanted to use him to showcase His power and glory, so that the families of the earth would know the difference between serving God and serving demons. And God knew that His blessing upon a man attracts attacks, from evil people and forces from all directions. Just as His blessing upon Adam attracted Lucifer to target him and to bring him down. So while He left the boundary lines of Protection to Adam to keep it himself, He Himself reinforce the boundary lines of Protection for Abraham. And because God's gifts and calling are irrevocable, this boundary lines of Protection passes on to the descendants of Abraham through Isaac, his heir and he in turn passed it on to Jacob.
So what actually is blessing or curse?
Both are vehicles of spiritual empowerment or enablement that come upon a person to make him excel in a good, positive direction in the case of blessing or excel in a bad and negative direction in the case of a curse. Both have a form of spiritual power and authority to accomplish their intended purpose on a person's life. They are programmed in and exist in the realm of the spirit but effect their work in the realm of the physical and the material world.
We know that the agents of enforcement of blessing are angels and the Spirit of God and that of a curse are demons.
In our today's world, the boundary lines of Protection which when one crosses brings this divine curse is called Anti-Semitism. Sad to say, millions of people and even groups and nations have come under this curse because of their Anti-Semitism. It's on history records that the powerful, mighty British Empire came crumbling to pieces because of its Anti-Semitic stands (source: The Making of.History, by Derek Prince).
For us Christians, this blessing of Protection also applies to us, not because we are physical descendants of Abraham, but through the redemption of Christ, we have become spiritual children of Abraham and qualified for this blessing and boundary lines of Protection (Gal 3: 29).

Bible declares that a curse without a cause shall not alight (Prov 26: 2), and the same is true of a blessing. There must be a legitimate cause for both to come on you. And for the disciples of Christ, the legitimate cause is the One who took our curse that we might share His blessing (Gal 3: 13 -14). So let's learn to activate this blessing of Protection through the Lord Jesus Christ.
May the angels of destruction be released on your behalf against those who have crossed or moved this boundary lines to attack you and to resist the will, the purpose and blessing of God for your life. As Saul of Tarsus was thrown down by that bright light of Christ's countenance, so may all those who attack you, afflict you, insult you, scheme against you and work to bring you down be thrown down and crushed to pieces. May they never have peace, and may the curse of the Lord be their destruction in Jesus name. Amen
