SPIRITUAL WARFARE: PART 2
Greetings fellow steemchurch parishioners, in my previous post I talk on spiritual warfare , here is the continuation, I will be talking about ways in which we face spiritual battles.
Unexpected or outrageous rush of different inconveniences and losses
This is a heartless attack that Satan regularly brings against believers. It appears unexpectedly, and it's only one thing after another. It's difficult to try and see straight, you feel your life is all of a sudden in a mess, crazy. Job's life is a guide to those of us in similar situations
Job 1-2
In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.
2 He had seven sons and three daughters,
3 and he owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred donkeys, and had a large number of servants. He was the greatest man among all the people of the East.....
The devil went to God to inquire as to whether he could torment Job, supposing he would endeavor to lead him far from the Lord through the numerous battles he confronted. As we know from the book of Job, this exemplary man remained steadfast. In spite of the fact that igt appeared he was losing everything dear to him, he realized that God held him secure through all the misfortune and hardship around him. God will never enable the enemy to have full control, he doesn't have the last say over our lives. We may confront battles and attacks in this world, yet we can trust in our Mighty God to be our haven through everything.
Attacks of physical danger, disease, life-undermining misfortune
We know from God's Word that the enemy wants simply to
"... steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full
John 10:10
He is a criminal, a thundering lion, and preys on God's people. He wants to quiet our voices and remove us from this world to stop the light of God's love and expectation through Christ. Alot of us may have experienced close passing encounters, unexpected and horrible sicknesses, or holding loved ones who were at the point of death. But then God intervened to keep them here longer. There's numerous accounts in the Bible of God's children under incredible physical attack and danger, thus numerous miracles that God performed to bring them securely through. Even when it didn't make sense or seemed to be the end.
Daniel confronted lions in the lion's lair
Daniel 6
...... So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!”
17 A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the rings of his nobles, so that Daniel’s situation might not be changed.
18 Then the king returned to his palace and spent the night without eating and without any entertainment being brought to him. And he could not sleep.
19 At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den.
20 When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”
21 Daniel answered, “May the king live forever!
22 My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”......
His attackers thought he'd be dead before morning, yet God intervened and shut the mouth of each lion. Be guaranteed, God is closing mouths today. If you're confronting attacks, and feel your life has been undermined, our God is a supernatural occurrence specialist. The Bible advises us that our problems are in His grasp. We can be certain that He knows each day we are to be here on earth, and He will keep us, and our loved ones, securely in His care until He calls us home to heaven. There's no motivation to fear, remain steadfast through prayers and His scriptures.
Increased temptations leading to transgressions or wrong decisions
In spite of the fact that we live with day by day battles and temptations surrounding us, commonly there are spiritual attacks on our lives that put us at more serious hazard to wander off-track. It is a fight, a merciless one, and the enemy will contend energetically against us. He wants not just to cut us down, but everyone around us. He loves to see devotees fallen, those who have settled on decisions of wrongdoing. He loves disunity among Christians and wants to separate families and each relationship we hold dear. We should remain steadfast and remain mindful. Try not to give him a dependable balance into your life, don't surrender to him even the slightest bit of room. He'll come in and unleash destruction and attempt to lead us off track quicker than we even realize what occurred.
Frequently when we wind up fatigued or weakened we're on his radar. Jesus Himself is our most prominent case of this when He confronted the devil's temptation in the wilderness
Matthew 4:1-11
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.
3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”
4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God....
He was fasting, He was hungry, he was physically weakened, and tired, and obviously the enemy hopped on that opportunity to hasten the temptations than at any other time. One weak moment is all he was searching for. One wrong move. One "yes" to sin. In any case, Jesus remained steadfast and opposed his attacks, each and every one. He expressed God's word so anyone can hear, He held quick to truth and ventured over Satan's lies and attacks. What's more, He drives us to sin in a similar way today. Try not to be taken unaware. When you begin detecting solid pulls from God's reality and ways, you can realize who is at the base, all things considered.
Feelings of overpowering gloom, dimness, and fear
Many may battle with nervousness and fear in this life. Many might confront sorrow and inclination issue, or psychological sickness. Yet, regularly the attacks of spiritual powers against our lives raises the force to much more
degree than ordinary everyday battles. It's heartless, persistent, we feel alone and totally overpowered and stuck in profound fear and depression. Perceive this dimness for what it is and remain steadfast!
This is the place Satan will lead some to try and think about ending their lives or settling on decisions they never would have thought they'd make. It's a merciless device, yet there's expectation from the pit as a result of Christ. He is the One who can lift us straight out of that darkness, He is the One who can calm our feelings of fear, and give us quality we didn't know was conceivable.
Elijah the prophet was an extraordinary righteous man. He had driven the fight against false idols and opposed the individuals who remained against God. In everyone's eyes, he was a saint, regarded and respected. But, after such extraordinary triumph and achievement, he confronted warfare. He kept running for his life, in dread. Despair and obscurity had held his life and he couldn't think straight, it appeared that he'd overlooked everything God had recently done for the benefit of his kin people
1 Kings 19
Now Ahab told Jezebel everything Elijah had done and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword.
2 So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah to say, “May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them.”
3 Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there,
4 while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.”
5 Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep.
Yet, this is what I love about God – He came to him right where he was. He accommodated him. He dealt with him. He reinforced him. He gave great leniency and grace to him. And afterward He did this - He called him to action. He gave him a plan to continue pushing ahead. Despite everything he had incredible reason for the prophet in the coming days; there was still work to be finished. Also, He does likewise for us today as well. If you end up running terrified or stuck in gloom, stop to thoroughly consider who you're truly running from. Try not to get tied up with the enemy's interest and attacks. He has no enduring control over you and God will hold you solid for the road ahead.
Profound confusion, sentiments of judgment and blame, dulled spiritual mindfulness
This last one can be difficult to see through now and again. Since this attack can be so unobtrusive and can happen gradually after some time. In any case, when we look carefully, we can detect the problem. A moderate, consistent pulling far from God's reality will abandon us feeling like aggravated, conflicted, and confronting summed up feelings of blame and judgment that we just can't shake off. We've lost our craving to try and push and pray Or on the other hand we're excessively occupied, we have a lot to do, even beneficial things. We're not in God's word. We're out of cooperation with believers by one way or another trusting the falsehood we can do this life thing all alone. But then we feel a foreboding shadow of confusion and blame that chases after us and won't leave. Bitterness can set in. Conflict and broken relationships that we once thought about. We don't comprehend what to accept any longer and have begun listening more to what the world says is correct.
Run from this trap immediately, wake up! Mix yourself to activity and realize that God's capacity is more prominent to get through that trap of judgment and confusion. God reminds us in His Word that
"For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints."
1 Corinthians 14:33.
He reveals to us that
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"
Romans 8:1
His Spirit will convey conviction over sin to His children, He will attract us to Himself and demonstrate to us what we have to make right. However, inside that, there is extraordinary expectation and grace. It's anything but a heartless, condemning voice. It isn't the falsehoods and heaping of blame that the enemy will endeavor to unleash devastation over us. Step far from that foreboding shadow and into God's light and truth.
