DECISION MAKING
Ruth 1:11-18
11 And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?
12 Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;
13 Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.
14 And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.
15 And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.
16 And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
18 When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.
Is it true that you are directly at any of life's crossroads? God expects that your decision would be the final product of a procedure of reflection on the accessible decisions previously you, educated and managed by a worry to satisfy Him. You subsequently require direction from the Holy Spirit before making up your brain on any issue, particularly the troublesome ones. Our cherishing Father has given help to our decision-making process through the Holy Spirit, the Scriptures, people and the normal world around us. In Joshua chapter 24, the All-knowing God new that the Israelites would soon need to settle on the cognizant decision of either serving Him or the lords of the countries around them. He in this manner displayed His case on why they should serve Him by helping them to remember how He presented to Abraham their dad out of his local land, over the stream, into the Promised Land. He additionally described how He conveyed them from subjugation in Egypt and took them through the wild with supernatural occurrences, signs and ponders going to each part of their trip. The Lord at that point declared to them that in the event that they thought that it was hard to serve Him wholeheartedly subsequent to all that he had improved the situation them, they were allowed to pick whom they will serve. In any case, Joshua promptly respond in due order regarding himself that he and his family would serve the Lord.
For what reason would God give His kin the choice of serving different divine beings? The reality of the situation is, our God's leadership isn't tyrant or strong. He will disclose to you His guidelines and controls, and make his situation on issues clear. He will likewise uncover what anticipates you later on in view of the decisions you make today. You can make certain that He will enable you to have your direction, and He will likewise give you the chance to practice your through and through freedom. Be that as it may, you should be prepared to acknowledge the repercussions of your decisions and assume liability for your activities toward its finish all. On the off chance that you are a decent understudy of the Bible, you will watch that each time anybody acted in opposition to God's assertion, they generally suferered frightfully for it. For instance, in opposition to God's notice, Israel chose to have a ruler as opposed to giving God a chance to lead them through His prophets. They handed hard of hearing ears to God's notice over 1 Samuel 8:18 and they languished horribly over it in the hands of Solomon and the succeeding lords. As opposed to act in resistance to God's guidelines, it is constantly better to regard His insight. Be prepared to prevail upon God in His pledge and through supplications, and you will be compensated with divine heading that will lead to your leap forward (Isaiah 1:18).
Pray this:
Father, please help me to dependably act as indicated by Your will and to stay to support you in Jesus' Name.
Romans 8:5-6 KJV
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
This is where decision making comes in, you have to decide whether to set your mind on the flesh or on the things of the spirit. Because you are responsible for every decision you make. It takes only the grace of the Father to make the right decisions. Thanks for sharing with us.
