Amen! Good stuff. I'm in a study right now that's looking at the Praying life, and how we drag our personal history into our prayer life. We even come to God cynical, not believing He has our best interests at heart and wanting us to answer prayers our way instead of His way.

The best we can do is pray, we do not answer prayers. Even at that, it takes God to quicken us (Psalms 80:18, Romans 8:26) else we can't pray.
