Peter's Half Obedience -Steem Church

The story of the net-breaking fishes in Luke chapter 5 enclosed by Peter still has an element of half obedience which many of us haven't looked into.
After toiling all night as a professional Fisherman who knows the best time to fish, Peter caught nothing and frustration crawled in.

Jesus Christ craved his indulgence to make us of his boat for preaching the gospel which he willfully gave. But, after the sermon, Jesus told Peter to launch into the deep and let down his nets for a draught, not net. Net there was plural ( Luke 5:4-6).
Instead of full obedience, Peter chose to go his own way by letting down his net (singular) into the deep and he enclosed a great multitude of fishes that he had to beckon on his colleagues for help.

Imagine if Peter had released his nets(plural) into the deep, his wealth would have so multiplied within some minutes that he would have become the fastest Billionaire in the world.

I'm not saying that Peter wasn't obedient, but our full and total obedience is needed by God to birth what is in the book of (1 Corinthians 2:9) for everyone of us.

So, we should learn to fully obey whenever God commands to attract uncommon blessings.
