Good times are one of the things we have to remember in our homes. Sometimes, people get scared when they go through some problem and in the middle of the problem they go through an emotional crisis; and in the midst of that crisis or those frictions that may exist, they forget the good times. The Lord is someone who reminds us of good times and promises us that he will give us a greater glory later than the first. But between the first and the last glory, there may be stages in which situations are difficult, but God constantly reminds us of what he has told us by prophecy: that his house will be full of his glory.

The point I want to reach is found in verse 8 of the book of Haggai, which says: "Mine is silver, and mine is gold, says the LORD of hosts." God tells his people in verse 7 of this passage that glory will fill his house, and in verse 9 he has a greater glory later than the first; but in the middle of the two verses he reminds us that gold and silver belong to Him. What does this mean? For a long time people believe that when God gives glory, He is telling us that He makes us gods, and it is not so; God gives us glory in the sense that he gives us a good job, a glorious ministry, he prospers you because the blessings of God always accompany you.

People separate prosperity and separate economic well-being from the glory of God, while the Lord has also included a good economy in his glory. When it speaks of the glory of nations, it refers to the fact that there are nations that are prestigious in their governments, their economy and production. And when the Lord reminds us that gold and silver belong to him, he does it so that we do not forget our economic fidelity to him, when we are blessed for his prosperity.

In life there are more important things than gold, income, finances and money. The Bible teaches us about them, and they are integrity, faith, wisdom, love and peace. All this God wants to give you.

Faith is very precious and like gold, it is proven. Gold is tested in an oven, the furnace is for gold and tests for faith. As long as your faith is tested every day, you can achieve more because it is purified and strengthened.

The test is a friend of God and friend of your faith, although it is not very close to your flesh, because the flesh feels bad. But if you look at your spirit, you will really realize that there is a rejoicing in it, because your spirit does know what is happening in your life. La fe para producir es muy preciosa, por lo tanto, podrías haber perdido todo, pero si tienes la fe, puedes volver a producir todo lo perdido y levantarte de nuevo.

When I put in this article that there are things better than gold, I introduced myself saying that gold and silver are important even for God. Why do I start saying this? Because most people fall into the extreme of despising prosperity; they separate economic well-being from the glory of God, and this is also included among the blessings that God has also given us and should not be despised. Rather, we must learn to use it as good stewards to honor and glorify our Lord.

Most of the time, we in our lives pay more attention to money, instead of giving that attention to what produces it. People have longings to produce a lot of money, but they study little, they want to have prosperity, but they work less every day and those are things that are divorced from each other.
