Put on the new man
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Eph. 4:24 KJV).
A standout amongst the most stunning disclosures of the work of Christ is that the Spirit of the Lord repeats the imaginative work done in the book of Genesis 2:7 each time a man puts stock in Christ. This fact can rapidly end up negligible Christian talk if we neglect to really grasp the full measure of what the Lord is stating here. What God did in the book of Genesis as He made man has been repeated. That is the means by which huge the death of Christ on the cross is.
At the point when God made Adam, He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man turned into a living soul( Gen. 2:7). Adam's body and soul were made. In Christ, the Lord reproduces the soul of the adherent at salvation. This new soul, called the new man, keeps on living in the old body while we are as yet alive here on earth. However, the body of this new man will be given to him at the restoration. This is the thing that the Apostle Paul was speaking of in the verse underneath:
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. (Rom. 8:23 KJV)
God implies what He says. You have been reproduced in Christ. He needs you to put on this new man by enabling the new life to control your psyche, words, and activities.
The end result for the "old man" when we got Christ at salvation? ( Rom. 6:6). Proclaim that "I am another creation in Christ and I am putting on the new man in my outward life every day."
God needs you to put off the deeds of the old man and put on the show of the new man. Permit the new nature within you to control your life.

Good to hear from you hrent, Thanks for sharing with Us!
@STEEMCHURCH
That's why the bible said old things have past away and everything has become new as well, the truth is to hols stake in the kingdom of God, we must become new, and becoming new entails living an entirely different life.
Amen. This is the main deal of sanctification. We have to live by the Spirit and by so doing, we will not fulfil the desires of the flesh.
God wants you to put off the deeds of the old man and put on the acts of the new man. Allow the new nature inside of you to control your life.
Beautiful piece @hrent. Am glad to have read your post yet again. To be a fruitful believer putting on the new man is sure a must and conscious efforts must be made at keeping it anew each passing day (Rom 12:2).
Thanks for sharing and the good Lord richly bless you.
Still Elisedaniels...Love for the Gospel..
