BELIEVE AND OBEY
At times we try to rationalize every thing including our relationship with God. Just as Job, in Job 9: 1-2. Yes! I have heard all that before, but how can a man win his case against God?
We can also see what played in the book of Jeremiah 26. Prophet Jeremiah was notifying the people of Israel, on what God will do. Which could be summarized as follows;
- Repent from sin.
2.Believe & Trust in HIM. - Obey HIM.
This simple but difficult tasks, are the root of all that is going on in the world today.
Instead of accepting the message and working towards fulfilling them. They preferred to kill
the message by killing the message bearer.
Many people will stop at nothing just to make sure that they did not here the truth , let alone
accept it. We may blame and even condemn those who attempted to kill prophet Jeremiah then.
But what are we doing now. presently some people are worse then the Israelite of old.
All that is required from us is to REPENT AND OBEY GOD.
