STEEMCHURCH: A challenge for the God of the impossible..!!
It is said that in the German city of Hanover there is the tomb of a countess who denied the existence of God and laughed at the idea that the resurrection existed.
To indicate his contempt for Christianity, he ordered his subjects that when he died his grave would be made of solid masonry covered with large stones joined by staples of
steel.
On that grave the words of challenge that said "This tomb will be closed forever" were recorded.
One day a seed fell into one of the cracks in the tomb, and soon a small plant began to grow. Then, as if nature wanted to make fun of the pride described in the tomb, that small plant grew leafy and little by little the roots were penetrating under the solid blocks of stone, lifting them and removing them from their place.
Although only a few generations have passed since that tomb was sealed, only a small seed was enough for the power of God to glorify itself over those words inscribed there.
"Because the word of the cross is madness to those who are lost; but to those who are saved, that is, to us, it is the power of God. "1 Corinthians 1:18
To have faith in Jesus Christ is to believe and trust faithfully in everything that seems humanly illogical. Believe in the existence of salvation, eternal life, a new heaven and earth. To know that he is with us every day of our lives until the end of this world and that he will never leave us ashamed.
It is encouraging to know that the trust we have placed in Jesus Christ shelters us with the power of his word. Keep going, do not give up...
Cling to your trust in Jesus Christ as that little seed, even if for others it seems madness, it is God's power that brings us salvation...
