Tithing
Tithing
Hello Christian brethren it's my pleasure to share my thoughts with you as regards to tithing. Recently, there has been arguments as regards to tithing if it is something necessary in christiandom.
First, I'll like to say we are the New Testament believers and we are no longer under the law. Does it mean that the law has been abolished? No. Jesus told us that he has come to fulfill the law and not abolish it. But the New Testament told us something. It states that these things are the prototype of things yet to come.
We fulfilling the prophecies of the law and not living under it. A New Testament believer is someone who can give all to the Lord without being obligated to do so.
A New Testament believer is someone who is led by the spirit and obeys the spirit leadings as regards to everything including the way he uses his wealth and riches.
I personally believe that as a Christian, you give more than tithe. You give your all to the Lord.
God bless you.
By fulfilling the law Jesus abolished the law. That's why animal sacrifices are no longer required to pay for our sins. The 613 commands in the Jewish law are no longer in effect.
Tithing is no longer required. The blessings that God promised to Israel for tithing are not in effect either.
Thank you very much for this awesome feedback. It is truly that the Law has been fulfilled are we are no longer under it.
