Day 25: Christianity As a Battle Ring

The most precious thing to know is that, despite the fact that Christianity is a spiritual warfare, God has made us victorious in christ and this was made know to us in his word:

2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

This passage of the bible has complied to this claim and this is because one do not triumph over nothing or any form of situation that seems easy for one can only triumph in strong situation but glory be to God who has made us triumph despite this warfare thing.

Paul again also stated that Christianity is nothing but a wrestling ground where Christians wrestle with thing beyond their widest imagination and from this statement, here Christian will see that this warfare is more of spiritual than physical.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Most Christians place blame or faults on their own fellow human, not knowing that theses blame should be placed on man's greatest adversary which is the devil, the first key to win a battle,competition or any sort that tag with being victorious is by first identifying your Enemies and also knowing their strengths and weaknesses, including knowing the form of battle you are engaging in.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

The devil himself is spiritual and God has not called us to a physical battel rather a battle of faith and faith is spiritual. The devil has nothing to do we light, for we Christians represent light just as God is light and this makes the devil so jealous that he is determined against you.

All Christians can't escape this fight, for the problems
will always come to test our faith in christ for no one can escape it as a true Christian. The Bible made us to understand that problems and temptations will come and when it comes, christ will always be there for us.

Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

It wasn't stated that "if" but the word "when" was used and this implies certainty and note that the devil can never be the winner in this game; you are!. The only thing that will always act as an impediment to your victory is sin, but for whosoever abiddeth in God will not sin and as such, victory is always yours

1 John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

When these temptations comes, we should be ready for it and no man should ever lay excuses why he/she couldn't overcome and this is as a result that, God won't allow temptations that is bigger than our faith to come to us, for no temptations can be beyond you. God is always aware about you day to day activities and he know your limit and capabilities, he knows you can overcome it. Remember the story of job in the bible, God knew job can overcome that and that's why he said in 1 John 5:4 that in him, we can overcome the world.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

So as a Christian, let's remember that God has made us to triumph and we are victorious.
