Reading from Matthew chapter 2 and 3 this morning.
I'v got some lessons to share with you.

LESSONS FROM CHAPTER TWO(2)

Lesson 1:-

No matter where you are born your talent and gift will fetch you out as in the case of Jesus the star linking to his birth was what led the three wise men.
Even when the were wise men yet Jesu had what the didn't have.

When God picks or choose a man, even the rich will sort for him, because he has what they don't have.

Lesson 2:-
Not all people are supposed to hear your success story because they are not happy with you. Imagine king Herod pretending to be happy to hear Jesus birth yet he was angry, jealous, envious and planned to kill him.

Lesson 3:-

God knows how to preserve his own. When God is with you on when God is involve in your matter no man can stand against you. King Herod thought he was wise he never knew God searches the heart. While he was planning to execute Jesus God was also planning to rescue Jesus, that was why he appeared to the three wise men to use another route back home and he also appeared to Joseph telling him to carry the baby to Egypt.
Joseph obeyed without arguing.
What is that thing you are afraid of, don't fidget God knows your name so he will be right on time to rescue you.

LESSONS FROM CHAPTER THREE(3)

Lessons 1:-

John the Baptist knew his work, he knew his purpose, he already started telling the people that came to him that Jesus was greater than him.
He never got Jealous of Jesus, he just knew his work was just to prepare a way for Jesus.
His purpose was to till the ground then Jesus will come to plant ams water the seeds.

Know your purpose, don't help other people fulfil their assignment here on earth and you go empty handed.
Know your purpose and work towards fulfilling it.

14.But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

1. And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

Lesson 2:-

The passage above shows us how humble Jesus was to allow himself to be baptised by John the Baptist.
What kind of leader are you?
Are you a proud leader, if yes please desist from it.
God resists the proud but raise the humble.

If Jesus could be humble then we as his followers ought to do so.
