How to overcome Temptation?

Although we are Christians we must not forget that while we live in this mortal body we will have Temptations, many of those temptations will be the same things as before we were Slaves of Sin and far from God, that is why we must Take Care to Stay Firm in the Lord.

God does not tempt anyone, the Bible teaches us in Santiago James 1: 13-15 that:

"When you are tempted, remember not to say, 'God is tempting me.' God is never tempted to do evil, and he will never be tempting anyone. Temptation comes from our own desires, which seduce and draw us away. From those desires Sinful acts are born, and sin, when allowed to grow, gives birth to death. "

That is why we must constantly Pray, at all times, because when we pray our being will be in communion with God and therefore we will be less Vulnerable to yield to Temptation.
