Fearing God is necessary
Those who know the word of God recognize that free will is designated to man, the right of choice in any situation.
In verse 1 of chap. 4 of Malachi, the prophet presents two situations that define what we receive as we make decisions based on our carnal bases. The prophet makes mention of the arrogant man and the man who commits perversity.
For them the Lord of armies will burn them in such a way that they will leave him neither branch nor root. When Moses was in the desert, there were some situations in which God had to intervene because of the pride of Miriam and Aaron.
In Nm 12: 2-10:
2 And they said: Did the Lord speak only through Moses? Did not he also speak for us? And the Lord heard it. 3 And Moses the man was very meek, more than all the men that were on the earth. And then the Lord said to Moses, to Aaron and to Miriam: You three went out to the tent of the congregation.
And three came out. 5 Then the Lord descended in the pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the tent; Then he called Aaron and Miriam and they both left. 6 And he said, I have heard my words now; If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, in a vision to him I will make myself known, or in a dream I will speak with him. 7 Not so with my servant Moses who is faithful in all my house.
8 Boca mouth spoke with him, clearly and not by enigmas; because he sees the likeness of the Lord; Why, then, have you not been afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses? 9 So the anger of the Lord against them was kindled; and he retired. 10 And the cloud withdrew from over the tent; and, behold, Miriam remained leprous as the snow; and he looked at Aaron to Miriam, and behold, he was leprous. 11 Therefore Aaron said to Moses, "Oh, my lord, do not put this sin on us, for we have acted foolishly, and we have sinned.
This portrays pride, when we want to be more than we can or should, or when we occupy the places that were not reserved for us.
We have to have the vision we have that we make ourselves God's designs.
Miriam was Moses' sister, but she was not called to do what she thought she should.
- We need to recognize and respect our leaders
Romans 13: 1-2 - Everyone should submit to government authorities, because there is no authority that does not come from God; the authorities that exist have been established by him.
Therefore, he who rebels against authority is standing against what God has instituted, and those who do so bring condemnation upon themselves.
- We must not assume a function that has not been designated
Many times we are placed in certain tasks beyond our knowledge, and we have to understand that sometimes we need to grow with a heart-rending point of our soul called tolerance. The Lord often wants to try to know how our heart is deceiving.
- Do not scandalize wanting to transfer responsibilities that you have not been entrusted with
And he said to the disciples: It is impossible that scandals do not come, but woe to him by whom they come. Luke 17: 1
We have to seek in the Lord our place within the project and be part of it with all understanding and give everything we have, some 30, others 60 and others 100, but knowing that the government is not ours and we are subordinated to the constituted authority
Verse 2 God talks about the blessings and the shedding of his power
The crucial point for God's action is fear - For those who fear Him
Many are called ... but few are chosen
The choice is a selection that involves your thinking and action, and God's judgment on how we think and act
What makes us think and act well is the fear of the Lord
The promises of God BIG FOR THOSE WHO FEAR
- FEAR GOD - BORN THE SUN OF JUSTICE
God compares the size of the sun, its greatness, its reach with one of the greatest stars of our own light, which means that its reach is unimaginable.
Where we are, your justice will be present and in our favor
- FEAR GOD - WILL HEAL
We will have a healthy life, not only in the body, but mainly in the soul.
The soul when ill, besides bringing irreparable sequels, has no remedy.
- FEAR GOD - WILL HAVE JOY
And you will go out and come out like calves from the barn.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness and self-control. Against these things there is no law. Galatians 5: 22-23
Joy is a fruit of the spirit, conquered by man. It is not asked, it is conquered through the experience and experiences with God. But the Lord promises those who fear him. Imagine what it is to live a life with joy.
- FEAR GOD - OUR ENEMIES WILL BE TREATED
(And tread on the wicked, for they will become ashes under the soles of your feet), Luke 10.19: Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and all the strength of the enemy, and nothing will harm you
The days for men are not equal before the judgment of God, those who expect a comfortable life have to seek justice as the brightness of the sun. Many do not do it because they do not want to follow the patterns of the word and others because they are deceived, we have many false prophets within the churches.
All right Glendys, our world needs more people with fear of God!
