BE CONTENTED

In life one needs to be contented with what he/she has. God gives to people depending on their ability. He cannnot give more than you can take care of. It is left for you to Appreciate what he has given to you.

To some he made tall and some short, to some he gives hips and seize brain for others he gives brain and seize hips. Rich men get money but their children are something else, some get height but lacks figure, some has figure but no height, some has hair but lack desired complexion. While poor men no get money but their children are doing well and are beautiful. Poor men manages like 10k in a month, no serious illness such as Asthma, cancer, kidney failure and so on but rich men spends billions for treatment.

One marries a handsome and rich husband but a womanizer, another marries a so called fairly handsome and poor man, but no regret. Your friend that got married before you is praying and seeking for a divorce, while you that’s not married and having your freedom is blaming God for being single.

You’re a local government worker earning peanuts, people understands while some are federal government workers they earn big but with bigger responsibilities.

Some has B.sc others have OND, NCE and HND. People with these qualifications gets jealous seeing someone else get a B.sc and wished they had such certificates. Sometimes NCE, HND and OND is able to foot your bills more than the B.sc holder so don’t feel less important.

Your date doesn’t do well financially, but does well emotionally, physically and without insults, and you’re planning on cheating on him, your friends are enjoying their rich guys but with emotional and physical abuse and insult which they can’t share with you.

Your wife can not cook well to your taste, but then God has given her special grace in other areas of life, your concubine may cook well but lacks spiritual grace for open doors.

Considering all these mysteries of life its high time we learn to adopt patience and contentment with whatsoever God has blessed us with. You can’t get everything you want.
