DIVINE EAGLE 🦅
God chose to compare believers to the Eagle.
Eagles are born to live in the High Places.
All believers are born to be overcomes - You were made for the high places.
In Isaiah 40:31,
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Those who have studied the ways of the eagle tell us she makes a wonderful mother. She builds her nest high in the tallest trees away from the prying hands of men, taking the utmost care to line it with the softest feathers she can find. When her eggs hatch and the little eaglets are born, she gives them her complete and undivided attention. Every
morning she fills the nest with tasty morsels to keep them going all day. Nothing is too good for her precious brood.
After several weeks of this tender care, the mother eagle suddenly changes her behaviour. She knows it is now time for her eaglets to leave the nest and learn to fly. So reaching down into the nest she rips out the feathers, breaks up the twigs and overturns the comfortable home. The little eaglets are frightened out of their wits. Gently se nudges one
of the birds towards the end of the overturned nest and pushes it out into the air. The little bird of coursed falls like a bullet to the ground, squawking with fright, but just as it is about to hit the ground, the mother eagle swoops beneath it, catches it in her broad wings and carries it safely up into the sky. Then she tilts her wings and the bird falls off again, but this time it flaps its wings in fright to discover it can fly!
Deuteronomy 32:11
“Like an eagle teaching it’s young to fly, catching them safely on it’s spreading wings, the Lord kept Israel from harm.”
Not only was Israel kept from harm but God does this with you and me as well. He pushes us out of our comfortable nests in order that we might expand our wings and soar towards His highest purposes.
When you feel like you are out of your comfort zone freefalling through discomforts, sorrows, disappointments believe that this is the growing edge or the starting point of progress. Believe also that you are not going to hit the ground and the Divine eagle will catch you safely on his spreading wings.
Another reason why God nudges us out of our nest is to enable us to experience living. The majority of us are content to settle for the accustomed rather than the adventurous. God may be pushing you in the area of vocation, education or creativity. We take the little and lose the big. God has designed us for creative thinking and venture.
As His followers we are led by the Spirit, made into Christ’s image by the Spirit, we bring forth the fruit of the Spirit, our bodies are quickened by the Spirit.
An eagle will sometimes perch on a high rock and wait a while, testing the winds and looking for warm thermal currents. When it feels the right wind is blowing it expands its broad wings jumps into the air and at once lifted by the breeze into the great heights. In every trial and difficulty that comes our way there is a breeze, that if we wait for, take advantage of, will lift us clean beyond our problems and into His heights.
God does not permit trouble to come our way in order to destroy us but in order to develop us. When God allows things to crowd into your life, you can react in self pity and frustration or in confidence and courage to turn trouble into triumph. When your nest is overturned don’t panic, God the Divine Eagle will catch you safely on His spreading wings and teach you to fly. Not only fly but soar. Learn to wait for the breezes that spring up to lift you clean above the problem so you can see it in perspective. When trouble comes, don’t flap – soar
