SEEK HIM WHILE HE CAN BE FOUND

All seekers are welcomed. Everyone who comes to Christ will surely find Him. There's not even a person who has sought after God for salvation and didn't find Him. If there is any of such claim, then that seeker did not really seek the Jesus who's the Savior. Even before the seeker thought of seeking Jesus, Jesus was already searching for him. (Luke 15:11-32)

That's the kind of Savior we have. The One who seeks for the lost. Why do you think he came to die without any man's consent? Why would He come willingly into this sinful world to take upon himself flesh, to become a slave and die a shameful death on that wretched cross? (Philippians 2)

7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. (Philippians 2:7-8, ESV)

If not that He was seeking to save the lost then what else? He did all these because He is the Master Seeker. Therefore what prevents the sinner from seeking the One who is already seeking for him?

We are living in the times of the New Covenant and such is the ministry of the Holy Ghost- Searching for hearts to be convicted by the preaching of the Word of God. This makes it possible to find Jesus whiles we seek Him. But a time is coming when He won't be found. Isaiah said in chapter 55 verse 6 that "Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; " (Isaiah 55:6, ESV). This means that Christ is nearer than He was in some time ago. He has come to die for sinners and waiting for sinners to come to Him by the calling of the Father (John 6:65). So seek Him whiles He can be found. And this is the time He can be found. For He had allowed himself to be found by seekers. Grab this great opportunity now. A time is coming when people will hide from him. He'll, be coming in a countenance that's so terrible that people will beg the rocks to fall on them to prevent them from the wrath of the Master Seeker.

15 Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, 16 calling to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?" (Revelation 6:15-17, ESV)

This is the time of grace and we must all seek Him. Both the sinner and the child of God must seek Him. Christians in whom dwell the Holy Ghost are always to ask for him to fill them. For God in salvation has placed an insatiable desire for the Holy Ghost. This is so because once we live in this earthly tent, we cannot fully overcome the desires that come from our mortal bodies (2 Corinthians 5:4-5). This war between the Holy Ghost and the flesh will be fought until we see our Seeker come in His glory (Romans 7:23)

For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. (Galatians 5:17, ESV)

That's why it's imperative for all children of God to seek him always. And whoever seeks him will find him. "8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened." (Matthew 7:8, ESV). This is a true saying for the one who said it cannot lie. It's the assurance given to seekers. Whenever anyone seeks for him, he'll find Him. He's available for salvation and sanctification. Available for the lost and the found. I pray that you'll continue to seek your master and Savior Jesus Christ. For in him you'll find salvation for your wretched soul.
