Inheritance of the Righteous
Proverbs 13:22
"A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just".
The Bible shows us the inheritance of a good man; that is a righteous, godly man. it tells us that a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children. What kind of inheritance is referred to here? Note that the second part of the verse says ”...and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just” in essence the inheritance of a good man that he leaves to his children's children is not wealth. What then is it? if it was wealth, he and his children's children wouldn't have needed the wealth of the sinner.
The inheritance of a good man is the treasure of the fear of the Lord, which is treasure and wealth indeed. This treasure or inheritance that he leaves for his children's children is what it takes to attract the wealth of the sinner. Isaiah 33:6 tells us, speaking of Jesus Christ that ”Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the Lord is His treasure.” The fear of the Lord is Jesus' treasure, and that's our treasure in Christ also. We treasure the fear of the Lord as an inheritance, and so the wealth of the sinner is laid up for us.
The way of the sinner is different from the way of the righteous. Do not envy sinners because there is nothing to envy about and in them. Some of them cannot sleep at night. They don't have peace of mind because of the unrighteous ways they have treaded to get wealth. The Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Their wealth comes with sorrow; with anguish of heart, but ours comes by the fear of the Lord and with joy and grace.
Proverbs 10:22
”The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it."
Beloved, do not go in the way of the wicked, but let your heart delight greatly in the fear of the Lord. Proverbs 20:21 tells us ’An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed.” Choose the fear of the Lord, and let your heart delight itself in the Word. Proverbs 1:10 tells us ”My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not." Resist every temptation to get rich quick by unrighteous means.

There is a blessing for the righteous ones. It's more like a reward for being righteous. Let's be different from those that do not care about righteous things, since it belongs to those that are spiritually mature.

The righteous have blessings both now and promised blessings in the future. When one is righteous, he experiences peace of mind now and is sure of being in God's love. It's best to make our heavenly father happy.
The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.Beloved, do not go in the way of the wicked, but let your heart delight greatly in the fear of the Lord
This is a word for the righteous that envy the wealth of the sinners. As believers we have to know that wealth from God comes with rest of mind and happiness. Would you rather have wealth and be sad or be content with the little you have from God and be happy? I'd choose the latter.
This is a really educating post, thanks for sharing
The inheritance of righteous,is losing it hold in most Christian live but your post has really said it all "The way of the sinner is different from the way of the righteous. Do not envy sinners because there is nothing to envy about and in them. Some of them cannot sleep at night. Indeed, there is alot to be inherited by the righteous! The beatitudes is one passage of the Bible where Jesus really analysed what's in stock for a man that chooses to be righteous. Imagine inheriting the earth!!!
Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?" ( James 2:5 ). As well as being an indescribable inheritance, God's Kingdom is also a firm promise to us from God. He does not break His promises
At the time of the complete fulfillment of this redemption, "the earnest of our inheritance" will blossom into its entire fullness. What will we be heirs of? What will we inherit?
The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children work and walk with God, they will inherit from God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. (Romans 8:16-17)

The honest have endowments both now and guaranteed gifts later on. When one is upright, he encounters genuine feelings of serenity now and is certain of being in God's affection. It's best to make our grand father upbeat.
