God Hears Our Cries Psalm 102: 1-28

Men are continually faced with different kinds of trouble but individual disposition towards such problem differs. Some put their trust in Chariots and horses... (Psalm 20:7) while others in princes (Psalm (146:3) but the psalmist puts his trust in God and reassert His faith in God. He knows that God regards the prayer of the destitute and He hears their pleas.

Do you feel discouraged and hopeless pertaining to one situation or the other that you find yourself, your family, organisation, your church or nation in? Take a look at the depth of the psalmist's distress as he made repetitive emphasis on his troubles.

He feared that his life would be taken away shortly; know that there is hope, a very great hope. All we have to do is to put our trust in God and look forward to Him for revival and healing. We shouldn't hesitate to cry unto God for help like the Psalmist who was anxious for God to answer Him quickly and show him mercy.

God is ever merciful for “He shall arise and have mercy upon Zion; for the time to favour her, yes, the set time is come” (v. 13). He will hear us and answer us!

Prayer Help me O Lord , to continually hope and put my trust in you at all times, may you O Lord save me by your mercy out off all my distress.
