DEATH is defeated

DEATH
It is normal for everyone to be scared of death. Even at old age, people still fear to die. Even those that wants to die changed their mind when it finally came.
The truth of the matter is no one wants to die. It is a feeling embedded in us from the beginning of time. God created humans to live forever on a paradise earth. So, it is still in us; never wanting to die. The fear of death has made devil a victor. On no account should anyone fear death. It is something that would come. Do not be scared of it.

Why should you not be scared of death
As Christians, we have an assurance that is not of this world. Jesus has given us the hope of a new life even when we die in this corrupt system of things.
The bible said: “…so that by the grace of death He might taste death for everyone” – Hebrews 2:9. Death is no longer an issue because he has done it for us. He has paid with his blood what we couldn't have paid with all our Trillions of Dollars.
The book of Hebrew 2:14-15 also said; “Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil and deliver those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery”. Jesus has paid it all... He took our body and die with it. The physical death should not be an issue.
In the early Christians, the Roman empire, Christians do not fear the crucifixion they got from preaching the gospel. That is the attitude we should possess.

When Christ tasted death for humankind, He tasted from the cup of God’s foaming wrath and he empty it. He fully experienced the curse of death in every shape and form; He tasted the horrors of this destruction and decay to the last degree. Although crucified in utter weakness, nakedness and open shame before a mocking world, throughout the whole spiritual realm Christ exhibited a victorious display of Satan’s shameful defeat. In Christ’s greatest moment of weakness was the greatest moment of God’s power displayed.

VICTORY OVER DEATH

What greater victory can be if not the victory over Death. For he died for all the death we could ever die. In faith, we resurected with him to glory. Hallelujah!!!
