HE WATCHES OVER US
Exodus 3:7
I have discovered that God surfaces when and where you least expect him. His rescue does not come the moment we want it but he chooses the best time to act.
When you feel that God has forgotten you in your troubles remember he has a time schedule we can't see.
When Joseph took his people to Egypt it was for their own good seemingly. But they did became slaves to pharaoh and Egypt. They suffered untold hardship and degradation and it appeared God had forgotten them.
In attempt to fight and defend his people, Moses became a murderer and incurred the anger of pharaoh and the rejection of his own people.
Surprisingly, God was wide -awake and knew all that transpired. He still loved his people and had plans to deliver them from bondage and show himself strong on their behalf.
In our text today, he told Moses, 'I have surely seen the affliction of my people... I know their sorrow...and I am come to deliver them'.
Our God is never late. He loves us beyond words. Despite Moses fiery temper, he molded him and used him to demonstrate his omnipotence before the Egyptians and the nation that dared oppose them on their way to Canaan. You may have failed him like Samson but if you have given your life to him, he will not give up on you. When you call upon him, he will answer at the fullness of time.
